I bought the game & all DLC except SoK & Chaos because I don't want to fight or use any Clan mechs/equipment, but hiring hero pilots would be nice. Is it possible to unlock SoK's pilots while somehow not triggering the Clan invasion?

Edit: What's with the steady stream of downvotes? I'm asking about part of the DLC. I tried looking it up and didn't find the answer so I asked the community. Did I do something wrong somehow? Seriously look at my comments you guys are downvoting. I've asked clarifying questions, expressed thanks, said the DLC sounds well made but it's not for me, etc and somehow these are the things you have a problem with?

I've been letting the new demo idle on the title screen for about 30 minutes just to see if anything would happen. The Great Fox continues to slowly fly off into the distance, eventually disappears, and...that's it. Kinda disappointing but I thought I'd share in case anyone else is curious but doesn't want to waste time finding out.
