Started printing some structural parts out of pa6-cf today, printed great on the x2d but can't seem to remove these horizontal lines, I believe it's shrinkage as the infil is extruded it repeats the walls, tried increasing the wall count which didn't effect it. Anyone have any ideas please?

Just to let you all know that I have added to the B-HITCH line up. Introducing the B-HITCH Home Base. I mentioned in my last post that this is just a passion project and free for anyone who has a printer!
I had a few comments on Makerworld and Reddit that an entrance way/hallway clip base could be good. After a long day on site or out and about you unclip your keys off your belt and snap them straigtht to the wall mounted clip. I thought this would be a great idea, so here you go. I appreciate Topo is not everyones preference so let me know what you would like to see on the rear plate if anything.
Also, I know the split rings are shameful, I am waiting on a nice chunky Ti one!

Has anyone had their canvas delivered without the website updating the status, also anyone from the UK had Evri delivery it? I have a random email from Evri that looks legit saying Logistics-1 parcel on its way but other than the canvas I haven't ordered anything.

Seem to be gaining a small amount of interest/traction with this odd little passion project of mine, so I thought I would develop the idea, a few people suggested with V1 that a more secure latching mechanism could be a good plan, so I have incorporated the use of a neodynium magnet 8x2mm in the latch and it does hold better and have more of a tactile "Snap." I have also noticed that during some testing there were fault areas due to the nature of the 3D print, I have changed the geometry slightly to hopefully maximise the strength and alleviate the stress/strain.
I have also added a holster for the Knipex Cobra XS Pliars, these are my favourite EDC item to carry and I am fed up of having them in a pouch or at the bottom of a pocket. Let me know what you guys think? If you have any suggestionms that would be great. As before I have linked the updated items on Makerworld below.

Hi all,
After yesterday's feedback on the B-HITCH system, which most of you seem to like despite the amusing "is there a cell phone clip" comments. I thought I would double down and go for the EDC Grail imo. I love my Leatherman Wave+ and use it all the time at work. Ultimate Utility. Wanted to be able to put my keys on the side at work and clip on my multitool ready for the jobs ahead, it need to be quickly deployable without unlatching for the B-HITCH.

The noise at the beginning, sounds like a fantastic issue, but for life of me cannot stop it despite tightening the heat break fan or the main head fan, hoping that the canvas front cover you get will stop this, I have tried an ASA skeletal frame also as well as the cable ties around the head to stop resonance! It sounds worse with the door shut and the noise carries through the small house we have 😂

I wanted to share a project I have been working on lately. Like most of you, I carry a lot of gear, but I have always had a love-hate relationship with belt clips.
Most of what is out there is either way too bulky, ridiculously overpriced for what it is, or – the absolute worst – it digs right into your hip the second you sit down in a car or at a desk. After one too many jabs to the ribs, I decided to just design my own.
I am calling it the **B-HITCH**.
The goal was to make the absolute thinnest, lowest-profile anchor possible. I wanted something that I could just "hitch" my gear to and literally forget it was there until I actually needed my keys. You can see the mechanism uses a sliding latch that stays secure but lets you swap things out fast. Let me know what you think, if you fancy your own I have put the print on makerworld for those interested.
Also let me know if theres any adaptations or add ons you want, I am thinking about a knipex cobra XS quick release holster, tell me that doesn't sound cool!

Does this sound normal compared to yours? My movements appear to be super loud and grinding almost. Any help appreciated 👍
