Just bought my first 3 maples!

Very excited to start these. I will have these in containers

What soil mixture is best suited and suggested from you guys.

I was going to use 70% sunshine 4 mix and 30% pumice.

Also read its good to use pine bark but unfortunately I cant seem to find any for a good reasonably priced pine bark. I heard you can do orchid bark as well. Just seeing what is best to let these guys thrive in soil. I know I need to keep the acidity in the soil just not too much.

Any suggestions would be helpful thank you

I live in zone 10b i got a spot with great morning sun then around 11 am its all shade from there.

Sad times

So i think i put it in too much sunlight im in zone b

I transplanted it into acidic soil so is that also the reason all my flowers and leaves died? All my other plants are doing fine so are these just that sensitive

Planted these cuttings in after calluses

In a shady spot outside and I live in zone 10b

I have not put any water in. I did do rooting powder when I first put them in about a week ago. When should I water them. I read when you see a leaf growing then you can. What do you guys do

Newbie

Just bought 3 food grade 5 gallon containers

Put some holes in the bottom and top sides of one and now putting in the cardboard and I have some organic raised bed soil I can mix in with?

The 500 red wiggles are coming and they also added 100 euro nights too. So I heard its fine to mix them in

How will I know how much cardboard and soil I should put down for them?

Also when I put them in can I put poluveried egg shells in too?

I think these are doing well

First one is blueberry pink the second and third is the same its the sunshine

How are they so far its in a 5 gallon cloth pot in acidic soil so far they are doing well. They been in there for about 3 weeks. How much longer can these be in 5 gallon

Next season?

Also third pic its kinda shivering up from maybe the bigger branch shading it? I also pruned off all of the flowers from this sunshine so maybe its sad from that?

Dwarf lemon tree

Just got a dwarf myers and this one was the only one that had a strong root base and the others were skinny and tall. Hopefully I made the right choice. I also took the small lemon off as well. Anything else I should do? I need to go buy pine Bark mulch later this week

First time growing improved Myers lemon dwarf tree

I was going to pick one up in this weekend probably a 5 gallon and transplant it to a 10 gallon cloth pot. Any tips and tricks? I read to plant it in citrus soil but I haven't seen much more than that. I live in socal so its easy for the tree to live ive heard.

Thanks!
