How do you actually decide which country to study in? 🌍

I’ve been thinking about studying abroad in the future, but I’ve realized I have absolutely no idea how people actually decide which country is right for them.

There are so many options — UK, US, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc. — and every country seems to have different universities, costs, scholarships, visa rules, job opportunities and everything else.

So I’m wondering how people actually approach this decision.

Do you start with the country, the university, the course, or your budget?

And for students who have already researched/studied abroad:

- Which countries would you recommend looking into?

- Where can I find reliable scholarship information?

- How competitive are the scholarships?

- How difficult is the application process?

- How much should someone realistically budget?

- Are there countries that are underrated but offer good opportunities for international students?

Also, how early should a student start preparing?

I’m still at the research stage, so I’d rather hear from people who have actually done it instead of just reading generic “Top 10 countries to study abroad” articles.

If you studied abroad, what do you wish you had researched before choosing your country?

I can’t tell if I’m reading too much into this guy’s behaviour 😭 so much of mixed signals man!!!

Okay, this might sound a little confusing, but I genuinely don’t know what to make of this situation.

I’m a 17f , and there’s this guy I had a really good conversation with when we first met. It was just… easy? We talked pretty casually, got along well, and I really liked the way he communicated.hes in my schul

At that point I thought maybe there could be some kind of connection there.

\*Guys a genuine question from u ..how do any girl know if a man is really into her ?like howw\*

Then I found out he was getting into a relationship.

The confusing part is that he had previously told me he wasn’t really interested in all this, so I honestly don’t know what changed.

And since then, I feel like I keep getting mixed signals.

For example, we still talk sometimes between classes, and there was one day when he called me unexpectedly while he was playing chess with his girlfriend.

I don't know if I'm attaching meaning to things that don't actually mean anything, though. 😭the eye contact in the class??am I the only one noticing this

Maybe he just sees me as a friend. Maybe he likes talking to me. Maybe there’s something else going on. I genuinely can't tell?I'm hella confused wht is this 😭😭

And honestly, I’m not even sure if I actually have a crush on him. I think I might just really like the fact that we had such a comfortable conversation and that I felt like we clicked.

What do u think ..cuz if he had SMTH in mind he would text me it's been more than 3 months ntg happened yet but are their still chances ?or he's chill with his gf idk???

Am I overthinking the mixed signals?

I’d really appreciate some outside perspective because I feel like I’m trying to decode every little interaction now 😭and all i have dreams are of him shit fk 🙂

Class 11 Commerce students — where do I even start? 😭

I’m currently in Class 11 Commerce and my exams are coming up, and honestly… I’m a little lost about where to start.

I feel like I have around a month to properly prepare, but I don’t know whether that’s actually enough or how I should structure it.

The biggest problem right now is Accounts. I understand some concepts when I study them, but when I actually sit down to solve questions, I get stuck. 😭and applied maths i didn't even touch

For anyone who has already been through Class 11 Commerce:

- Is one month enough to prepare properly if I’m consistent?

- What resources did you use for Accounts?or other subjects

- Should I focus more on NCERT/textbook questions, sample papers, PYQs, or something else?

- And how did you personally get better at Accounts if you initially struggled with it?and mathsss tooo

Would really appreciate any resources, strategies, or mistakes I should avoid.

Especially interested in hearing from people who were also completely confused at the beginning of Class 11. 😭

What actually worked for you?

Planning to start writing online — what would you recommend?

Hey everyone! :)

I’ve been thinking about starting to write online, probably in the form of a blog/newsletter, but I’m honestly pretty confused about where to start.

Substack is the platform I’ve been considering the most, but I’m not sure if that’s actually the best choice when you’re starting from zero.

I have a few topics I genuinely enjoy thinking about — mainly philosophy, psychology, and business. I’m wondering if that’s too broad, or if these can work together somehow.

So I’d really love some advice from people who already write online:

- If you were starting from zero today, which platform would you choose — Substack, Medium, LinkedIn, or something else?

- Is Substack actually worth it if you don't already have an audience?

- What kind of topics/articles would you actually want to read from a new writer?

- Should I pick one topic and stick to it, or experiment with philosophy + psychology + business for a while?

- How did you get your first readers/followers? Is it mostly through the platform itself, or do you have to bring people from other platforms?

- And something I’m particularly curious about — how important is having “good English” when writing online?

Like, should I be trying to use sophisticated vocabulary and make my writing sound very polished, or is simple, clear English actually better?

I’m not trying to sound like an expert. I mostly want to write because I enjoy learning and thinking about these subjects, and hopefully get better at writing along the way.

Would love to hear what you’d suggest if you were starting from scratch. What would you do differently? :)

Thinking of starting a newsletter/blog — is Substack actually worth it?

I’ve been wanting to start writing online, but I’m honestly a little confused about which platform to choose.

I’m mainly interested in writing about things I’m genuinely curious about — psychology, philosophy, business, finance/economics, law, and observations from everyday life. I don’t necessarily want to position myself as an “expert”; I’d rather document what I’m learning and develop my own perspective through writing.

I’ve been considering Substack, but I have a few questions:

- Is Substack a good platform for someone starting from zero?

- How do you actually get your first 10–100 subscribers?

- Does Substack have enough organic discovery, or do you basically need to bring an audience from somewhere else?

- Would you recommend Substack over Medium, LinkedIn, or another platform for this kind of writing?

- How long did it take you to build a consistent readership?

- What do you wish you knew before starting your newsletter?

- Is it better to focus on one niche, or can you successfully write about several connected interests?

I’d especially love to hear from people who started with little or no existing audience.

If you started a newsletter/blog recently, what worked for you — and what completely didn’t?
