Someone gave us a large dollhouse, so we have to buy accessories. The problem is..I looked everywhere online and I only found small accessories. I need something bigger for the house for my daughters.

Edit: Thanks everyone for your help. I didn't know anything about scale. The dollhouse is by Melissa and Doug. The large one.

How do you balance a busy career and taking care of your children?

I have a demanding career and I can work 24/7 if I want, but I know it's exhausting. I do take breaks and a day off. Sometimes I end up working on my day off.

My goal is to be really good at what I do. There are sacrifices along the way, like missing fun day with my kids. I will travel for work in the future too. The kids will be older, so it will be a little bit better. They will be more understanding. At the same time, I want to be a good mother to my children who are 7, 8 and 11 this year.

Can anyone relate to this? How do you balance being a good parent and having a demanding career?

Did you learn how to draw to improve painting?

I've been painting in acrylic for the past 4 years. My paintings seem off at times, and I figure it's because I don't draw well. Now I am learning how to draw. I think this will improve my painting skills.

How important is drawing in painting? Did you learn how to draw to improve your painting?

Anyone feel bad their kids don't speak your native language?

My family immigrated to USA when I was 8 year old. My husband was born in America. I always speak English with my husband. When I try to speak our native language to him, he responds in English. When my kids were younger, I always wanted them to speak my native language. We depend on my husband's parents to take care of the kids when they were small. Unfortunately, his parents speak English, so they always speak English to my kids. My kids are 11, 8, and 7 year old this year. They don't speak and understand my native language. We put them in my native language class too, but they still can't speak anything or understand much. At home, I try my best to speak my native language to my kids, but I forget. I don't really speak my native language. I speak English 99% of the time.

I don't think I fail as a parent..but I do wish they speak my native language. I got hired so many times because I can speak my language, and it's cool to know another language.

Do you feel bad that your kids don't speak your native language?

I studied to Calculus I over 20 years ago, and I did well in my lower math classes. I actually dropped out of calculus half way through due to personal reason. I wasn't failing though.

Right now, my job requires me to study advanced math such as calculus, linear algebra, and beyond.

I'm not sure how I should approach studying calculus and linear algebra when I haven't touched math for a long time.

How should I approach this? Since I haven't studied math for a long time. I literally study from first grade math on Khan Academy. So far, I'm on grade 3 math. Is that too elementary?

I have muscles pain around my jar for the past five years. I'm taking Cyclobenzaprine right now for my TMD pain. My joints are fine, but the muscles are the problem. I took other medications like Gabapetin, amitriptyline, Nortriptyline, Topiramate, duloxetine, but they stopped working. Sometimes I'm scared of taking medications that target the nervous system because they might cause future problems.

I currently have muscle spasms, and I think the medications might cause it.

I drank a lot of caffeine before, so I stopped two weeks ago, hoping the muscle spasms will go away. I know this sound crazy but sometimes I'm scared I might have Parkinson's disease , dementia, or some nervous system conditions if I keep taking these meds.

Any other solutions beside pain medications?

I haven't tried acupunture and dry needle point.

Are you scared of the side effects of the medications that target the nervous system?
