Amendments to package always go wrong

Thought I would treat myself to UHD sports as I got an offer text £3.50 for 24 months. Don’t know why but VM make these minor changes so complicated. Got an immediate e-mail with my new package details £3.50 more expensive all good.
Later that day get the e-mail from Netflix sorry you’re leaving us, followed by one from VM saying you’ve removed Netflix from your package.
Check original e-mail, Netflix still included….
Click the link that says was this in error, there is literally no option to add Netflix back.
Next morning get another e-mail thanks for making those changes with contract attached. Attached contract no mention of Netflix. Still can’t add Netflix via my account. However the price quoted in this new document is £26 less than originally so if this is correct I guess I keep as is and pay Netflix direct.
I took an offer to change BB speed a few months ago and exactly the same thing happened.
Can’t work out if it’s just VM trying to remove Netflix as they don’t want to handle it or just some level of incompetence. I don’t really understand how two e-mails a few hours apart give different contract details.

Bonus points added

I redeemed 500 points for £5 coupon for today’s shop but checking the app for the spin to win bakery treat I noticed I’ve got more points than I started with! Checking the history I saw ‘support’ added 2 lots of 1,000 points and then removed 1,000. No idea why, I’ve had no correspondence with them. Feel like I should convert to a voucher quick in case they take them both back.
Worth checking your app just in case

Got a small and large version of the Silvercreat bladeless fans. The small one not doing much good with the excess heat but bonus the remote turns the TV on & off. Bizarre

Life plus points products v money off

Just thought I would check what the best option to use points would be, checking a couple of items at random that I can check to a previous receipt
So 300 points = £3
200 points = Yoghurt……cost £1.99
120 points = mini cucumber…..cost £1.19

So no benefit to not taking the money value, I.e you would get £2.98 worth of product for the same as £3 coupon!
