[Ghostwater] Family revenge question

So i love this story so far but my only gripe is this theme keeps happening where some jerk is literally trying to murder our main cast and they defend themself and end up killing the person in self defense...and then their family member swears to hunt them down and kill them for "MURDERING" their loved one... WTF is that bullshit? happened with jai long trying to avenge his friend, then in ghostwater the dragon girl literally was hunting the main guy for weeks and would not leave him alone so he had to kill her, then the sister sends all her dragons to hunt every skysworn and is enraged. NOW at the end the akuma kid keeps trying to kill the main guy and so they defend themselves and even spare him but trap him inside, and i already know his family is now going to swear to avenge him or its going to cause some BS because it seems this keeps happening.

My question is does this continue to happen throughout the rest of the series too? i just dont get how all these supposedly honorable and pridefull warriors who are all about fair duels and such get so upset when their asshole family member tries to murder someone and when they get clapped back suddenly everyone wants to avenge them. they started it!

Questions about end of book 8

I don't understand how Carl's plan was supposed to work for a few reasons.

  1. Pet biscuits can only be fed to pet class mobs according to the wiki, and searching through the books i haven't seen anything stating otherwise
  2. A crawler can only have 1 pet unless their class unlocks multiple slots and even then they have to be same species. Carl has a pet already
  3. Even if all that wasn't the case you can't take it to the next floor without bonding with the pet which may take longer than the 30min they had till collapse.

So my questions are, how was a pet biscuit able to work on Scolopendra, and would the other pet biscuit even have worked because carl has a pet already? Also can any food be forced into a potion ball and be force fed to someone by hitting them with it?
