Do 0x02 top-ups take the same amount of time to be processed as the validator activation / entry queue?

I topped up an 0x02 validator recently (enough to increase the effective balance, not just the actual balance).

The deposits tab on beaconcha.in is showing a consensus layer ETA of ~26 days (execution layer is already processed, valid, etc). I thought top-ups were fast tracked and would be reflected in the balance within hours or days, but I think that's incorrect.

Dry milk powder vs casein powder for adding thickness to greek yogurt

I prefer to use fat free / skim milk when making greek yogurt. But the lack of fat causes it to be a little runny.

Adding milk powder has helped for sure. But I'm wondering if anyone has used casein protein powder. If so, what were your results? Did using casein make it thicker than using milk powder? Or was there no difference?

I scalded two quart jars of skim milk at 185 for 30 min. Took them out of the bath afterwards and let them sit opened on the kitchen counter for two hours. Is this still safe to incubate?

This is my first run ever so I'm ironing out mistakes.

Anyway, after scalding, I had the idea that taking the lids off the jars would help them cool faster. Then after two hours realized they were far more susceptible to contamination by doing that. I put the lids back on and I'm pretty sure the milk temp is about 100 degreee now and safe to add culture (store bought). It's been about three hours since I took them out - last hour with the lids on.

Was wondering if this is still safe to incubate or if taking the lids off made the contamination risk too high.

[suggestion] Looking for a PC that can handle these relatively lightweight games and is future proofed for the next 3 to 5 years

My lovely wife's laptop is dying. I'm hoping to take advantage of some Memorial Day sales.

Here's the games she plays the most:

  • Sims 2
  • Sims 4
  • Age Of Empires 4
  • Civ 6
  • Stardew Valley
  • Elder Scrolls Online

...so I don't think I need a competitive, e-sports 180 FPS behemoth, but I'd also like this to be future proofed for the next 3 to 5 years.

Also, a quiet fan would be helpful. So tired of these jet engine fans roaring away 24/7, lol

I'm looking at a few of the MXZ gaming machines on NewEgg. This one in particular.

Budget is 1k - 1.5k, but obviously I don't want to just throw money away on more CPU / GPU / memory than is necessary.
