Need Help Finding A Missing Person Case.

Hey I wondered if anyone can help ? I’m currently looking for a case where a man went missing.I can’t remember a lot of details but I do remember people reported seeing a body in a river or possibly the ocean but when police arrived at the scene the body had disappeared.I also recall a break in or an arson attack at a record shop but I could be wrong with that I also.I believe the missing man had some facial hair but again I could be wrong,sorry for the vague details.
