Hi,

I have 3 options of where to put a raised bed and I need your help.

I have a spigot on the left side and right side of the house for water supply. The one on the right side to the back is behind the rhododendrons along the driveway.

Should I make a raised bed:

A) in place where the bbq and green dying bush is

B) the strip of earth near the steps

C) in place of one of the rhododendrons.

A option I would probably shut the gas line for bbq (which I don’t use anyways), get rid of said bbq and get a free standing one on the patio. I like the bush for privacy but I can technically put a tall bush by the stairs.

C option is right near the water supply. Wondering if I feel less comfy tending to them in driveway and less private.

I am aware I’d have to build it away from foundation (right?).

I prefer not to plant on my grassy area.

I would love your thoughts where I should put a raised bed! I was thinking in the rear of the house somewhere. I’d rather not disturb the grassy area. Side of steps where rhododendrons are?
