Hello!
Just got results back from the clinic that we had 1 embryo suitable for freeze and biopsy. We will know if it is chromosomally normal in about 2 weeks. I am grateful to have 1 and sincerely hope it’s euploid!

How many egg retrievals did you do before starting the transfer process? I am 41
So I feel like it is best to “bank” euploids if possible. I foresee at least one more ER in my future. For today I am grateful we had 1 blast!

Yesterday I had my first egg retrieval.
Just found out that of the 9 retrieved only 3 fertilized.

Feeling very nervous about further attrition.

Any positive stories about similar circumstances? Or any thoughts of helpful questions to ask the embryology team? I don’t know what is appropriate or relevant to ask.

I’m 41 (f), AMH 1.6, AFC was 6

Husband is 47, high sperm count and all parameters at last check were “good”. Last check did not include dna fragmentation though and previous dna frag levels were 44% (he had done about 3 months worth of supplements for sperm quality before the retrieval.

Zymot and ICSI were used for sperm selection.

This is my first IVF cycle. I’m 41, AFC was 7 at baseline, estradiol 18 at baseline FSH is around 9, AMH 1.6.

I just had my second monitoring ultrasound since starting stims and now 9 follicles are measurable

14.3
13.7
10.7
9.7
And several smaller ones

My estradiol on Monday (first scan since starting stims) was 180.

Today it was 284.

Curious to hear about positive outcomes from women who have had similarly low rising estradiol in the middle of stims.

I took my first dose of Ganirelix last night and waiting to hear back from my clinic if any modifications to my meds will be made. Retrieval tentatively scheduled for Monday.
