This isn’t another case of people complaining for no reason,the bots simply aren’t functioning properly and the styles that were working are gone and users are left with knock off chat gpt. it’d be one thing if they just left us with pipsqueak one(which was alright), at least you could actually roleplay with the bots.
i get that businesses have to make tough decisions but come on… this is like if mcdonald’s suddenly decide to sell uncooked potato sticks instead of fries.
i could handle the ads, annoying? sure, but it wasn’t that bad.

Forgive me if the title is worded badly but with all the new updates(removing chat styles, ads, limited swipes), i’m starting to wonder if they’re purposefully driving users away so if they do end up shutting down the app, it’ll soften the blow since so many people have left already.

I’m more of a casual user of cai and i’m not really active in the community but when limited swipes became a thing i went back to the reddit and dear lord it’s a mess LMAO

its like in every meeting they go “how can we further dissatisfy our consumers?”. in all seriousness though im a bit disappointed in that this is the direction the platform/app has gone in, but maybe this is a blessing in disguise? i can go back to actually daydreaming instead of relying on a bot aha
