I thrifted this awesome lamp but it seems like the string you pull to turn on the bulbs is broken so all I can do is plug it in and 1 bulb will light. Any suggestions? And how hard is this to fix or how expensive is it to get it fixed?
I have 3 out of 4 shades so I need one more but can’t seem to find them. Also the washers or whatever there called that screw the lamp into the shade are very poorly fitted and go on crooked and are not very secure. Any help would be greatly appreciated ❤️
I did some research and found out this is a Hunter S Thompson thing but what exactly is it referencing? Fear and loathing? Is it one of his books? Any help is appreciated:)

I mist the leaves sometimes, I water when the first 2 inches of soil are dry, and it sits next to the glass door where it gets light but I move it in front of the door during the day for a few hours. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong that’s causing the browning please help.
