Hi, married to a Pakistani. I would like to buy a small apartment in Islamabad in my own name. The family is based very deep in Punjab, where life and amenities are still last century. I want to have a small apartment in my own name for emergencies in the capital (see hospitals). I don't want anything fancy, just safe, as I live overseas. Travelling 3 hours to see a doctor in Islamabad is not realistic. Staying with friends in the capital is revolting to me. You never feel you have done enough to thank them, not enough gifts, not enough meals. Staying in hotels can become expensive when having to bring the family (they never let you travel alone when there). I am hoping to have a base there, which allows me some dignity when required
