2 month solo trip to Italy?

I was planning on doing 2 months in Italy around May 2027 around my 24th birthday. I was going stay in Pistoia, Tuscany for a months and then a smaller beach town in Sicily for a months (possible southern Italy but I’ve heard alot about it being a little more unsafe) I’m looking for quiet. I want to basically eat, ride my bike and read in nice spots. I want a small town in the south or Sicily? I don’t drive so most of my transport will be public and I don’t really want to spend loads on taxi/uber with being there for while.

I (f23) and my boyfriend (M36) always argue over our views.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year now and it’s not wrong to say we’ve had a lot of bickers and arguments but not over typical couple things, it’s always about politics or gender etc. I’m someone who believes you can do whatever you want as long as you’re not harming anyone or being a bad person.

He thinks people who step out being trans or anything along the lines are crazy and doing it for the attention (he watches a lot of Joe rogan and similar podcasters) to which I disagree and we end up arguing. It’s not just this it’s also politics, we’re from the UK and right now alot of stuff is being said against immigrants and just POC in general and I completely disagree with it all, we wouldn’t be the UK without the massive amounts of diversity we have.

He believes we should be going after the immigrants because his point is he’s a hard working man and doesn’t really get payed what he should for his job and the immigrants get handed everything, but I try to tell him it’s not the immigrants fault it’s the government and the big billionaires and the immigrants are just as worse off. Obviously they’re gonna point you to the nearest thing to get you off there backs. I don’t believe he’s racist as he’s never shown that to me like never made a comment to a person or been violent but it makes me think.

He mocks me for my point of view and says I need to get a grip because I’m too much about peace and love and too naive. I’m don’t think I’m naive, I just believe the world would get in better if everyone was just nice to eachother no matter if they’re black, white, green or blue, wearing a furry costume or a wig. Whenever any of the topics are brought up he instantly goes into an argument or just shuts me down completely if we’re over the phone and will end the call and it feels dismissive and rude so I don’t know what to do.

Best de-shedding brush for my pup?

My Collie, Loki, he’s 4 and He’s currently malting like there’s no tomorrow. I have tried an undercoat rake which gets a lot of fur out but I’ll do that for like 2 hours and then I’ll do it again the next day and it’s still an insane amount of fur (could build 2 new dogs with the amount lol). I’ve also tried slicker brush but with his amount of fur I’m having to clean it out every 2 seconds. I need something that’s going to get all of his malting fur out in maybe 1 or 2 brush sessions a week rather than everyday as it’s not his most favourite activity.

I am going to Bergamo from the 17-20th may and would love some recommendations on what to do. We land quite late on the first day so our first full day is the 18th and I do plan on driving to Crema and seeing the Call me by your name filming spots, I heard that doesn’t take very long though so any activities in Crema or even after we drive back to Bergamo. The second full day we were going to drive to lake Iseo and rent a boat for a few hours. Where is the best place to do this?, I’m looking for beautiful swimming spots that aren’t too crowded. Would love any ideas on things to do, food places to try or cute trinket shops etc. Also what’s the typical pricing of petrol? our rental is a fiat 500 and also the typical pricing of renting a boat on the lake? Thank you :))
