I have a QNAP TS-253Be (latest QTS firmware) with Disk 1 (500GB, System Drive) and Disk 2 (16TB).
My data is on Disk 2 as encrypted shared folders but Disk 1 has the system/apps.
I need to replace Disk 1 - do I just remove the disk and add the new one?
Currently on spouse visa 5 year route on the previous financial requirement (£18600) but looking to apply for indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
Expected application date: August 2026.
My earnings combined from self employment and employment between April 2025 to April 2026 meet the threshold/requirement.
My employment had started on November 2025, and ended in May 2026, and now I have been employed elsewhere this month, July 2026. There was a gap between mid-May and 2nd July where I was not employed, only self-employed.
Does this gap prevent me from being able to combine the income?
I'd appreciate any help to make sense of the situation.
I have changed the windows edition to Pro, and then activated it. This worked fine.
But when re-installing Windows, the setup reads the embedded/BIOS windows key as Home edition and installs that automatically.
I have used the ei.cfg method to override the edition it installs and seems to work fine.
My question: is it possible to change the edition embedded in BIOS to Pro?
