I went to Build a Bear as part of the 15$ sale they were having and I couldn’t resist picking up this cutie. Her name is Moonbeam, and I love her so much. I even put the bubblegum scent in her when I went!

So a few days ago I was debating on getting a new pokemon plushie, specifically of Sylveon, as it’s one of my favorite pokemon. I go to check Pokemon Center’s webpage and realize that unfortunately the plush I wanted was out of stock. Fortunately for me, I saw a post on instagram that day saying that the BAB pokemon plushies had been restocked! Later that day I went to the mall with my partner on a whim, and we found a Sylveon in stock at our local workshop, and I couldn’t resist bringing her home. I’m glad they still had her in stock so I didn’t have to get the online bundle. I also got to customize how much she was stuffed and even pick out an outfit for her, and she turned out adorable!

Honestly this was my first time going inside a BAB in like ten years, so I was shocked at just how much they had changed. I miss the old aesthetic of the store, and some of the old activities you’d do (like the bathtub and the little dressing vanity stations they used to have for dressing bears) but I’m so glad I got to go in person again. Although I do understand that BAB is not FOR our generation anymore, and so they have to keep up with the times, as a new customer base of kids has shown up, but I still am nostalgic for early BAB designs/layouts.
