I'm not a professional so these probably aren't special, but to me they're interesting.
Young pigeons are more likely to:
Be smaller and thinner
Have cleaner, brighter colored feet
Sit in weird spots, including on shrubs and flowers, and slanted places that they slide off of
Peck at each other (though overall I find pigeons much chiller than sparrows, which are little fighting machines)
Peck at greens such as grass
Be more afraid of people
Fly too close to buildings and people
Fuss with their feathers
I saw a couple of birds of prey (either falcons or hawks) flying and one of them was carrying something that it dropped. Turned out to be a large wadded up piece of cloth. What was that all about? For its nest and then it changed its mind, or....?
