uos vs dmu (for md)

i’m currently deciding between uos and dmu for medicine and i genuinely have no idea which one to choose 😭
i was initially rejected by uos because my predicted a-level grades were below their requirements, but i ended up getting substantially higher final results (a*ab) and they reconsidered my application, so i now have an offer for the md program.
i’ve also already been accepted into dmu, so i’m basically stuck between the two. i’m planning on doing residency abroad after med school, so i’m especially interested in which one would be better in terms of reputation, clinical exposure, matching/residency abroad, student life, etc.
if anyone studies at either, especially medicine, which one would you pick and why? and pls be honest about the pros/cons 🙏

need help with uni outfits and styling 😓

im going to dmu, which i recently realised has kind of a strict dress code, and unfortunately i don't dress very modestly/conservatively, at least not by their standards, and i cannot find anything to wear. i even decided to go on shein for once to see if they have anything, but all the cute clothes would be in violation of the dress code. plus, when i went on their insta, almost everyone was in a abaya so i couldn't get inspo from there either. pls any help. the photos have outfits that are super close to what i usually wear. can anyone tell me which ones would be okay or alternative options

IMPORTANT EDIT: PHOTOS ARE NOT MINE!!!!!!!!! they are all from pinterest, they're just a reference to how i usually dress 😭

i cannot be the only one shitting myself going through these fucking reddit threads. EVERYONE is saying they got significantly lower than their predicted grades, people with all a* saying they got bs. i'm genuinely panicking the fuck out rn because if i get a single grade below what i'm predicted i am FUCKED for LIFE.
how similar are the other exam boards to cia with their portfolio based grading systems?????? how cooked are we????????

mixed schools and gender segregated schools

this is somewhat related to a post i just saw here, but i hate how people assume that anyone who prefers mixed schools has “bad intentions”. from what i’ve seen, segregation can sometimes make interaction with the opposite gender feel forbidden or unfamiliar, which may contribute to misogynistic or misandrist attitudes, or even cause people to obsess over the other gender simply because it feels restricted. it’s similar to how people often become more fixated on things that are treated as forbidden. in mixed schools, interaction usually feels more normal and less sensationalised.

so i’m currently applying to uos for their mbbs course. their application requires that i have to give a percentage for my grades, but i study under the british curriculum so i don’t really have that… i emailed the admissions thingy to figure out what to do, and they asked me to send my igcse results and predicted grades. i did so, and they replied telling me i don’t meet the requirement where i need to have a grade c or above in at least 4 igcses…….. the problem is, i took 8 gcses and got 7, 8, and 9s in all of them? 7 is equivalent to an A, and 8 and 9 are equivalent to an A*. moreover, my predicted grades for a level is BBB.. im really confused rn and im not too sure what to do. i’ve emailed them back but i don’t know what else i can do. any help?

the only advantage is that the papers would most def be full past papers, but that means that you’d have to stooge every past paper ever just to make sure you’ve covered all your bases. for eg, i have 9 papers, which means i have to do every single past paper from 2019-2025 for 9 papers

also does anyone have oxford aqa a level bio 4 and 5 jan 2026 and oxford aqa psychology a level paper 4 jan 2026 😭🙏
