what are some cool/funny ways to put T1 in your social media bio
I could just go with the good old "proud T1D" or something classic or cliché but I want something fun, yk?
I really like "diabaddie" but any other ideas?

I was so happy when I noticed this in Voicemails for Isabelle!
On a side note WHAT AN AMAZING FILM BRO
Last time I went on a road trip with my fam, I was 200+ for pretty long despite taking so many corrections. But I also don't wanna increase my basal and be low for long.

What do you guys suggest
So this time, I m****istakenly applied the cgm sort of on the side of the arm, not the back or the front so like total side of the arm, and the cgm's been acting crazy. At first I thought okay fine it's the first 24 hours, but it's been 3 days and it's still crazy. I also started going to gym a day prior to this cgm, and I guess that might have something to do with this idk I'm just putting all the context out there, related or not.

Today at the gym, it annoyed the life out of me showing 260 and high bg alerts. I went home to finger test and it was 150? I thought fine I'll give it 5 min, maybe time lag? It came down to 250 and bro THATS EXACLTY A 100 MG/DL DIFFERENCE WTF.

Is the cgm shitty, or the spot I chose(I feel like i dont have A LOT of fat in there, its pretty close to the bone), or it's just the gym messing with my fluids?
Ever since I've gone on a CGM, I've seen inaccuracy. Sure a 20-30 mg/dL difference I'm okay with, but not more than that. Initially I was on Libre Freestyle(the OG one), it had inaccuracies too, maybe not as much as the one I'm using rn but it did have some fs. The difference is, the one I'm using rn allows me to calibrate it every now and then and libre didn't.
Idk if I trust a CGM anymore, I have to check every 2 or 3 days if my CGM is right. I feel paranoid tbh. CGMs are annoying but I don't wanna finger prick eitherrrrrrrrrrr. (no offence to the ones who love CGMs, pls no hate I'm just sharing my raw experience)
Anyway-
I need to buy more CGMs now as my stock's almost finished and idk which one to go for. BTW my top options rn are vixxa 2 and LinX. I like the real time reading thru bluetooth and no I don't have libre 2 or 3 in my country so I can't buy them. I don't wanna go back to libre freestyle either.
Also do you guys experience inaccuracies of like 40-50 mg/dL too sometimes?

For the past week, I've been getting 85+ TIR but there's so much variation. My maximum fluctuation is 100 minimum in a day. Like at 7 a.m I'm at 80 then at 11 I'm at 180 then 140 then 170 then 110. So many ups and down, I don't get a straight line even for an hour. What's up? Any one of you go thru this?
Today was my first day EVER at the gym. I had a banana and a cup of milk 30mins before I went to the gym. I bolused only half of what I usually take.
Since it was my first day, I stretched a bit, then did some cardio, incline, and ended with a simple treadmill. Feels like I did nothing but it was just my first day so meh.
I went to the gym with 120 mg/dL, went to 140 in the gym and now that I'm back home, I'm up to 145. I guess the adrenaline spiked my sugar? Perhaps the fact that I took only half of the bolus or maybe that I didn't exert myself enough?
Anyway this was the first of the many day self improvement journey that I've set on and cheers to the future!
How were your first days at the gym?
Same as the title
Usually idgaf about stuff but recently I'm tryna get better and now that I'm all into TIR, ISF, ICR, wait time and stuff. Idk how to manage a birthday dinner. With all the excitement and stuff I'm sure I'm gonna go high. but I don't wanna overdose and go low
idk how I pulled this off but I somehow did it. I think it was prob my hormones or something but whatever it was. WE DID IT GUYS
How about we make a clip on that's a spinning sun from rapunzel? and make it a clip on because it won't be fun sleeping on it lol.
I tried to make sort of a prototype but i'm not super resourceful. So i'm attaching 2 videos. One of the spinning sun inspo and one of the prototype I made.
I also think if someone of us pulls this off, this would open so many doors to more fun cgm and pump accessories. Looking forward to your inputs 😄
My main goal is losing weight, gaining muscle, strength training, and endurance(pretty much everything lmaoo).
Over the past few years, I've been working out at home inconsistently and have finally decided to go to a gym. Idk anything about it except for some gym people I follow on social media. Recently I stopped working out (again) and I feel like all my endurance or stamina or strength (idk what it's called) is 0 now. I can't even do 20 squats as easily as I could a few weeks ago. And I think I might have strained one of my glutes or hips while trying to reverse lunges, so now squats hurt even more. I need consistency! So I'm bringing a friend with me :p We're both new to gym and know nothing. Both wanna lose weight, but I wanna gain muscle too. So yeah. Any tips or workout schedules or videos would be amazing. Thanks!!
My main goals are:
Increase TIR
Body recomp(I'm overweight so wanna lose weight and gain muscle)
I'm worried of sugars going low/very high.
I also am not gonna go for a personal trainer so any beginner tips would be wonderful :)
They look enticing and pretty much worth the money but I'm not sure if I should buy them. I am gonna go to college soon, so instead of using my frio this would be easier to carry, yk since it looks like a bottle and doesn't necessarily need air. But it's just so expensive. I feel sort of guilty having my parents buy it for me.
What do you guys suggest?
Does counting ever get too exhausting for you guys? Especially if you're eating a bunch of random stuff, counting each thing is SO ANNOYING.
