Sign on bonus
I recently received and offer, and was told that after signing the contract they will send sign on bonus agreement. I asked it to be put in the main contract agreement but they refused to make any changes. Is this a normal process?

Torn between two job opportunities, and I’m completely paralyzed by indecision. I’ve made Excel spreadsheets, done extensive internet and Reddit searches for subjective opinions, and had painfully long arguments with GPT still procrastinating final decision. Why are there so many variables?
Trying to decide between two offers, first attending job after fellowship. I enjoy teaching but am not particularly interested in research. I eventually want to establish myself as a subspecialist, and the case complexity, networking opportunities, visibility etc from academia look attractive. However, I’m struggling to decide whether those benefits are worth the pay cut. Both are outpatient practices.
Job A
Subspecialty center with fellowship program, established academic environment
Approximately 60% subspecialty / 40% general neurology currently, with potential for more subspecialty over time
Nursing and multidisciplinary support
8 half clinic days, 270k base
Midwest, middle sized city
Job B
Community practice with academic appointment from med school
50/50 subspecialty/gen neuro
Clinic support is worse than Job A, assigned RN or MA for patient calls
9 half days
380k guaranteed for 3 years then production based
Midwest, small city
My husband realized I’ve been having very intense conversations with myself, and now he’s asking what I’m talking about. Not cool! Do you also gesture while talking to yourself and end up looking crazy from the outside?
Beginner skater here. Shoot the duck or anything in that realm is WAY beyond me obviously, but I realized I can’t even sit or deep squat on skates. I can do it off skates but not a very comfortable position. On skates, when I try to lower myself, first, the ankle support limits my motion, and second, my weight shifts to my heels and I lose balance. Are my skates too stiff, or is this just a skill issue? I have moxi beach bunny.
