So I sleep with my hair pretty damp and in a gel cast, it works for me and I'm just not a fan of diffusing. I remember seeing a lot of videos and posts about hair mold if you sleep with wet hair? I have never experienced it in the many years I have been sleeping with my hair wet, but i'm honestly worried that maybe my hair does stink or something and I don't know it (I get paranoid about those things, nobody has ever said anything about my hair smelling) is this a real thing or just like a myth?

routine:

wash 2x and condition with Ouidads climate control line

detangle in shower

section off crown and apply leave in and curl cream to rest of hair, brush style with bounce curl brush

take down crown and repeat leave in + cream, brush style for no-part

apple Innersense volumizing foam and Ouidad climate control gel to while head + scrunch with hair towel

let form gel cast and sleep on satin pillowcase

(for other nights, I apply NYM hair oil and stuff my hair in a bonnet)

I understand what the meaning is behind The View From the Afternoon but this particular line has always stumped me

I dont even know where to begin when trying to decipher it, is there a symbolic things or a meaning or is it just one of Alex Turners random lyrics that dont make sense but are goated anyway

I see a lot of fans now dissing on TBHC and The Car for not having that "classic" AM sound or vibe to it, similar statements were made when AM came out and when Humbug came out too. I could argue that if you read some reviews from 2007 on FWN they would say the same thing. I think people are so caught up in this idea that WPSIATWIN is like AMs entire mood and their entire discography should live up to it. Its a great album im not arguing it's not, but I feel like because it was such a perfect debut people associate it with what the rest of their albums should be like and obviously every album is a completely different sound and vibe, it's like comparing I Ain't Quite Where I Think I am to WYOCMWYH two totally different songs

The whole being disappointed that none of their music has that Arctic Monkeys vibe to it makes me so sad especially for their newer stuff because their discography is so diverse and their newer music is so good people just reject it without even listening to them

I love the look for curly bangs, and I am considering getting some. I typically style for a no party but I'm not sure if you can do that with curly bangs? Would it look dumb or is there a way to do it without messing things up?

routine

3. do the same to part and style for no-part

4. flip over and add in innersense volumizing foam and slick Ouidads climate control gel over it.

5. Scrunch with hair towel and air dry

Inside the Humbug vinyl, there is a desert/mountain scene, it looks very similar to the cover of Evil Twin, are they the same place? And where was it taken, I'm American, but it's hard to imagine the U.K. having areas like this from what I know

To me, SIAS is a summer/spring album. Humbug is all fall, AM and WPSIATWIN is winter. The Car is spring, and FWN is also fall/winter to me. The only one I feel like I can't get an exact feel for is TBHC. Some songs feel autumny and others feel more springy to me.

Of My Propeller, Crying Lightning, and Cornerstone, which is your favorite? (Excluding the songs that are on the main Humbug album)

Personally, I love Catapult so much, but other than that, I don't really listen to the other songs on that EP. Crying Lightning is also good but the songs aren't my favorite either. My propeller is my all time favorite AM EP because of the Afternoons Hat. I LOVE that song so much.

Hello! So I was on Tiktok earlier and saw a slideshow of these like tattoo-esque stickers based off of the songs from Humbug, I tried to do a little bit of digging and I can't find them anywhere nor do I remember what they are called. For example, the one for Secret Door was two sketches of a man and woman running into a room covered by a secret bookshelf door. Dance Little Liar was Alex holding the word Truth in his hands, and crying lightning was an eye that was literally crying lightning. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but does anyone know where to find them? Also, I can't find the video anymore I seriously have no clue where it went.
