Using voice instead of typing

Ive been handwriting my draft for a while now and honestly my handwriting is terrible. But when it comes to the computer I get distracted easily or want to pace a lot.

I am also a visual person so I 3d print my character and terrain. Then I write as I play with the characters. It helps me make it feel more real.

But I was at the doctor's and he was using a program to talk and then it was all written down. I was like yes! Thats what I need. But I can't find it or even know how well it would work. Has anyone used a program like this? Or advice on making typing easier?

Online finds

Ive been getting into the game recently and besides 3d printing the actual models are really expensive. But I just got a core set 2.0 for $30 and it comes with 2 tie fighters snd 1 x wing. When i look up getting more x wings or tie fighters each one is $20. So why is it better to get the individual model when i can just keep getting core sets with 3 models for cheaper?

PR posts about this instead of controllers in trouble

So i saw earlier today we had a controller die, and nothing was said. The fires have displaced and destroyed homes, and yet there is silence. To anyone at GEG were here for you. The union wont care but we do. Youre still doing your jobs even though your homes are buring and your familes are displaced.

"In solidarity" only when you get all expense paid trips? This is what was posted today by NATCA. Silence when we need support. If you work in PR for NATCA then you should feel ashamed.

We aren't getting a raise, these bot accounts are spreading rumors of mass firing, working conditions are worse. What's the point? With all of this how can you seriously continue to pay this group? What benefit is there?

Cold weather gear

Got into duck hunting last year and used my sitka deer hunting cloths and tidewe waders. It worked but not that great. Sitka is a little too tight for duck hunting and I felt it wasn't warm enough especially for the cost.

Im a disabled veteran and the cold messes me up so whatever is warmest is best.

Right now I have merino wool base layer, heated socks with another layer of wool socks, fleece liner, just got a heated vest, and the tidewe 800g waders.

I do a mix of field and river hunting but would like to try kayak as well. So any good jackets for snow/windy conditions, gloves, face mask, ect.

Loud noise in wall when water is on

So usually theres a slight dripping sound in the corner of the basement whenever the dishwasher is running. Today this louder sound started when the shower was running. It sounded like this for a good 30 seconds even though the shower ran for about 5 minutes before and is still on. The corner is where the sewer and water connect to the street. Is this something that's normal for basements or should I get a plumber/ able to do it myself?

Id rather not tear into the wall if I dont have to. Its a finished basement and under that noise is a sink where the old owners had a mini bar. Theres no signs of leaking and no smell.

C&p exam without notification

So went through optimserve and they sent me a letter that said im not needed and its just a paperwork review. Then late last week I got a letter from the VA saying an appointment will be schedule. I never got a call, letter, or email updating me on an appointment. Then I got a call today saying they were going to do my c&p exam.

So already being thrown off i wasn't really sure what to say. I answered questions but they only asked about work. I tried to tell Them how it affects my social life as well but they cut me off each time. I felt like they were only looking for a few specific things instead of the whole picture.

Now im nervous that everything is going to be denied.

Tefl/tesol certificates

Has anyone used the gi bill for tefl or tesol? Im trying to find more information about it to see what's covered. As far as I can tell I need to go to a university and not one of these online certificate places.

Account hacked to buy cartel coins?

So haven't played the game in years but all of a sudden my email starts going off saying im buying coins. Naturally I find my account info to log on and see if it was my card. Nope some credit card from Yemen is being used to buy cartel points and transfer them.

How is it that someone in Yemen can log onto my US based account and EA security doesnt catch it? I didnt even get an email saying someone logged into your account. Which every other company does.

I changed my password and asked them to delete my account. But what's the point in hacking my account to use someone else's card to buy in game currency?

Is EA really this bad at security? I know ubisoft has horrible security but I expected better from EA.

Almost done with my death star

Still have about a days worth of printing for the trench run and then onto painting. This is gonna be a lot of fun to play with.

Anyone got any good ideas for a homebrew use of the turbo lasers? Or just keep them as terrain to run into?

Medical retirement

Im at at 80% and in a federal job but might have to medically retire. It'll cut my income in half so a bit worried. Its doable but with federal retirement i can make up to 80% of what im currently making. What are some jobs you've done that make you feel like youre actually doing something? Early retirement sounds fun but at the same time I still want to feel useful even if im limited.

Ive been thinking of going for my tesol and doing online English teaching. Moving isn't an option for me right now.

AI glitch or is it just bad?

So played mercs since it first came out and the ally Ai was terrible but the enemy was ok. Now, since the newest update all the enemies do is run past everyone to attack me. Or they just run past and keep going.

Ive had multiple dlc missions do this. Their mechs just run into my guys while we all are shooting then if they dont die they run to where I first spawned. Meaning I have to chase them across the whole map and its a waste of time.

Now ally mechs are weird. They are better at aiming and can actually hit the target but they continue to get stuck on invisible walls or rocks. When following they tend to keep 5ft away from me so I can't walk anywhere else. I feel like its useless taking other mech with me.

So is there a mod that helps all this?

Finished my printed rhino. Kinda messed up on one of the horns but otherwise I think im getting better at the airbrush. It keeps clogging after about 5 minutes of use so not sure what's causing that.

Ive been told I should file for an increase to my mental health. Im 30% right now but since my condition has gotten worse and im being prescribed medication and my therapist said i should take a few month break from working. Ive also been in the er three times in the last 2 years. When it comes to submitting information I have my er visits, doctors records as well as therapy. I was written up at work so was thinking of adding that. My friend said to add my journals but idk how to submit those. I have 5 separate journals from my time in till now. Do you take those into the c&p exam or what's the best way to upload it?
