2012 series…

Is it just me or did they (writers, directors, whoever is involved with the show’s direction) try way too hard? I don’t fault the actors or maybe even them (people mentioned above) for trying to “fit in” and make payday.. but, it feels nothing like Dallas.. could have really done without it. Just my opinion… do another movie with the original cast and let it be is what they should have done… thoughts?
