Has anyone booked hotels through LifeMiles Hotels? Is it reliable?

Hi everyone!

I’m considering booking a hotel through LifeMiles Hotels, mainly because they offer LifeMiles for hotel stays and I’d like to take advantage of the miles.

Before I pay, I’d really like to hear from people who have actually used it.

For those who have booked through LifeMiles Hotels:

Was your reservation confirmed without any problems?

When you arrived at the hotel, did the hotel have your reservation in their system?

Did you have any issues with payment or check-in?

Did you actually receive the LifeMiles after your stay?

If something went wrong with the reservation, did LifeMiles help you resolve it?

Would you use LifeMiles Hotels again, or would you rather book through Booking.com, Expedia, etc.?

I’m especially interested in experiences from people who paid through LifeMiles Hotels and then actually stayed at the hotel.

I’d really appreciate any positive or negative experiences. Thanks!

Durante la noche del 13 de septiembre, una aeronave de Avianca con aproximadamente 180 pasajeros encontró fuegos pirotécnicos durante su aproximación final al Aeropuerto Internacional Mundo Maya y tuvo que realizar un go-around antes de aterrizar de manera segura.

Esto no es simplemente un problema con fuegos artificiales. La pirotecnia cerca de una trayectoria de aproximación puede cegar o distraer a los pilotos, impactar o dañar una aeronave u obligar a realizar maniobras evasivas. En el peor escenario, las consecuencias podrían ser mortales para todos los ocupantes.

Guatemala ya reconoce oficialmente este tipo de actividad como un riesgo grave para la seguridad aérea.

¿Por qué esperar a que ocurra una tragedia para hacer cumplir las restricciones?

Este incidente debe investigarse y los corredores de aproximación de los aeropuertos deben protegerse estrictamente, especialmente durante las celebraciones nacionales.

LifeMiles promos paused since April — when might the next 2x1 or award discount return?

Hi everyone,

LifeMiles had buy miles promos almost monthly in early 2026, but I haven’t seen a strong public offer since April.

Does anyone know if it’s normal for LifeMiles to skip May/June? Are 2x1 or 155%–160% bonuses usually expected around late June or July?

Also, when do award redemption discounts usually come back after summer?
