Roleplaying as a Dangan Ronpa character and people thinking I’m being mean

Can I get in trouble if people report me for saying mean things when I’m literally roleplaying as Byakuya Togami? 😭

Just had someone get sooo pressed and pull the minor card out on me. Also the classic “all this over a game 🥀🥀🥀

Naturally I tried to explain I was cosplaying and roleplaying Dangan Ronpa and her response was basically “you think I play that stupid game?” 🧍‍♀️

PSA: Playing in a lobby with someone on your friendslist is not "teaming"

So many people in the Carnage community need to hear this.

Having a friend or multiple friends in the same lobby IS NOT teaming.

Accusing people of teaming with no proof ruins the momentum of the whole game, as now I feel like I'm on trial to defend myself against teaming allegations more than we are actually trying to solve the case and play the game.

If people aren't obviously cheating, they shouldn't be called out for teaming.

Imo, picking through someones entire friend list and putting them on spot during trial should be considered metagaming and bullying, and be a bannable offense.

It is SO rare for me to find a game where people dont accuse me of teaming just because I lobby with friends, even tho we literally kill and execute each other and only alibi eachother when we naturally cross paths like anyone else. I friend people and invite them to future games becsuse I thought they were fun to play alongside before and want to do so again! Not because I intend to cheat.

Kids in Apartment Complex keep breaking into pool at night and throwing furniture into the pool

As the title says, there are kids in my apartment complex who keep breaking into the pool at night and throwing furniture in the pool. The pool has to keep closing for days at a time so it can be drained and cleaned because of rust.

The other day, they threw a chair into the pool so hard that it broke the ground and now the pool has to be closed for an indefinite amount of time.

My mom is the assistant manager of the apartment complex, so I’m curious about two things:

  1. What can I do as a resident?
  2. What can my mom do as an assistant manager?

We are so sick of these kids.

Their amenities will be taken away, so technically, they can be trespassed from the pool soon, but I’m worried this won’t solve the issue since they just hop the fence to do this anyway, and most of the kids involved don’t actually live here.

The cops have been called before. It scared them for a bit, and they stopped for the remainder of that Summer, but they just go right back to doing it again.

I’m about ready to set up camp on my patio at night so I can catch them in the act, go down there and record them, and provide it to the office as well as potentially post it online to shame them, cause I’m so sick of this.

Is this a crazy take?

I am currently rereading Fushigi Yuugi for the millionth time (usually watching the anime every year is a ritual for me)— and I’ve had this thought for a while now but never really shared it online.

As a kid, I kind of just accepted it, but now as an adult, Yui’s betrayal seems so quick and sudden. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that she was emotionally compromised and hurt and I don’t blame her for being manipulated by Nakago— but I do feel like it could have been written a bit better. I didn’t really like the angle that she had a crush on Tamahome, a guy she met for like, all of ten seconds— and that’s where my possibly crazy take comes in.

Do you guys think Yui’s story would have been more compelling if she was in love with Miaka, instead of having a random crush on Tamahome?

I personally think so, but I’m interested to hear what you guys think.

Yui suffered, but she stayed strong through it all for Miaka, to get her back— and then not only is she manipulated into thinking that Miaka left her alone by choice, but now, when they finally reunite, not only is Miaka together with this random man in a book, but she also overheard her say she came back “for him”. I just feel like this entire part of the dynamic would have been more interesting if it was played from an angle PURELY focusing on the sense of betrayal done to her by Miaka, (especially if you add the angst of her having feelings for her) rather than shoe horning in the random crush on Tamahome.

These thoughts just resurfaced while reading again cause I still can’t believe Yui’s entire betrayal happened in the span of like, three pages, because of a classic “walking it at the wrong time and hearing something bad out of context”— and all they show us AT THE TIME in reference to Nakago’s manipulation is a simple “don’t forget what happened three months ago, I don’t think she wanted you back as much as you think she did” — just in my opinion, even just a little more manipulation shown here AND getting rid of the stupid crush on Tamahome could have done the trick here.
