Freeway and Windy Road Driving Questions in PA/Going Towards Forks

Hello, PNW Reddit,

Apologies for what may sound like ridiculous questions.

1.  Where/when does Highway 101 stretch out and become a three lane Highway with trucks in Port Angeles? I took the Strait Shot Bus from Kitsap in 2024, and remember that at some point it expanded past being the regular two lane Highway coming towards downtown PA (can't remember if it was three or four lanes).

2.  How high up/wind-y is the stretch of Highway 101 to Naturebridge/Lake Crescent? Is it like driving around a cliff?

Trucks, lane changes and multiple lanes, and merging on and exiting are the things I've had to work on anxiety wise being a newer driver to freeways (I drive often on the regular state highways). Oppositely, small rural roads that are twisty and high up I don't have much experience with either (which looks to be the case closer to Lake Crescent).

I've only driven over the Hood Canal Bridge out to as far as Sequim, so, any advice for what to expect past that when going out to PA (Downtown and then ultimately Naturebridge in ONP) would be much appreciated.

Thank you for reading

A Handmade Mini Illustrated (Accordion) Book Featuring Jimothy

Hello, r/Seattle 💚 I have yet to post much art I make on Reddit, but, as a fan of Jimothy who just made something where he is featured, I wanted to post on his subreddit.

Originally, this tiny Accordion Handmade/Artists' Book I was making was going to be little woodland animals at a picnic. But then, I learned of Jimothy the sweet little Seattle Raccoon/Locally Famous and Adorable Cryptid, so, the Book became about him.

Titled "Jimothy's 'Fern-tastic' Picnic," the black and white ink Cartoon panorama illustration shows Jimothy the Seattle Raccoon and another Raccoon friend having a fern framed picnic in a PNW forest, with a Snail friend nearby.

The photos here show various angles of accordion book, sized 3 inches tall by 12 to 15 inches wide when displayed upright.

It was made with white paper drawn on with micron black ink, PVA glue to hold it together, leaf pressed green handmade paper glued atop the covers, back of the book, and framing the inside of the book as well as being hand cut fern shapes at the bottom of the book, and with Davey Board for the covers.

Thanks for checking out my post. This was very fun to make!

I hope to make more Jimothy art when I can (and have already started on something else, showing him in more of a movement pose than his also very cute sitting/orb pose) 🦝

Downtown PO Parking this weekend?

Hello! I appreciate any suggestions. I'm wondering where it would be possible to park in, or near, Downtown tomorrow, Sunday, for attending the Mosquito Fleet Festival in the morning.

Or, I'm wondering if this would be one of those times it would make more sense to park in Bremerton and Foot Ferry back and forth between Bremerton and PO.

Thanks for any suggestions (I tried looking up online and might have missed something, but, the info I was seeing about parking was for Holiday on the Bay and other past PO events).
