the curse... it's following me to other rhythm games....
over the past couple months I've gotten hugely into maimai DX. during my climb through both bronze and silver rating (maimai's equivalent of pp), I accidentally landed perfectly on the funny number.
I'm gold rating now, so maybe I'll update if I manage to get it a third time at 14.7k xD

first played maimai three months ago to the day. got my aime on June 7th. can't believe I got here this fast xD what a ride!!
I'm not sure if I'll ever hit rainbow. probably plat eventually at least. it's been so fun getting to this point; when I started playing 12s looked painful and 13s looked _impossible._ xD now I'm playing Masters or Re:Masters of my favourite songs and having a great time improving at them. this really is the perfect rhythm game for me💕
shoutout to iyowa for making at least two of the best songs in this game, and to KAFU for serenading the insane upscore that pushed me over the threshold. my first SSS on a 13+, at that 🥰

is there a reliable way to predict when charts will release on International?
I'm still relatively new, but I've gotten very invested in this game over the past couple months. there are some charts I've been looking forward to in CiRCLE Plus that I'm trying to gauge when to expect, but it's difficult to find information about past drops.
for example, the songs "Zako" (雑魚) and "Ojisan-style Text" (お返事まだカナ？おじさん構文！) were released just two weeks into CiRCLE Plus in Japan. but we got the Deemo drop after two weeks instead. presumably these songs will just be pushed back to the next drop, but is there a way to know when that will be? is there an update every two weeks, or is it more sparse/unpredictable than that?
this isn't all that important, I'm just curious if anyone here has any insight.

my second ever AP. not bad for only two months in?
it's so funny too, I just barely got this in time for the +1 from AP to contribute to my overall rating before better scores knocked this off my list xD
I love these two songs tho, they're never leaving my favorites folder. gonna learn the Masters for both of them sooner or later

What happens if you beat a dungeon boss with 40 hearts?
Normally each main boss gives you a heart container. but what if you were to beat most of the game's shrines and max out your hearts before doing one/some/all of them? would the boss drop a stamina vessel instead? does it still drop a heart container, but you're not allowed to pick it up unless you go to the demon statue under LL and swap a heart for stamina? does the goddess statue even allow you to get max hearts without having the boss containers?
I believe the bargainer statue beneath GP ToT also gives you a heart container specifically as well, so this question also applies to that.
