Hi everyone again. Moe here. So I was wondering it’s my last full run for BG3 and I saved the Barbarian for last. I’m a level 4 Berserker Barb (Half Orc). If I want to be as optimal of a Throwserker as possible do I continue being a mono class with 12 full levels in Barb or do an 8 Barb/4 Rogue Thief split to get another bonus action for damage output? I ask as I did a similar split when I played a Shadow Monk/Thief and it really helped in end game a lot. Obviously I’ll grab the ring of flinging from the Druid’s grove along with the returning pike (eventually getting Nyrulna as my end game weapon). Alternatively would doing a Withers respec as a Giant Barb with the same level split be more desirable?

I just wanna shoutout Cloak of Deception by James Luceno. Before that I read Shadow Hunter by Michael Reaves. The pre TPM shenanigans/plots are really fascinating. I also really love how he vividly detailed the corruption in the Galactic Senate right before TPM. Seeing Adi Gallia in her element as a diplomat was great. As was seeing Tarkin as LT governor of his homeworld. Cohl was a really tragic anti hero and I loved Luminara’s cameo at the start of the book providing more exposition of why Cohl was the way he was. I just grabbed Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule. I started Maul: Lockdown and I’m also reading the 3rd Darth Bane book + Knight Errant along side The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.

Also looking at grabbing Mask of Fear + the Glass Abyss from EBay too.

Hey y’all Moe here again. I have a question to ask. So far I’m really loving playing an Arcane Archer. But I realized I have the perfect set up stat wise to make a really good EK too. Should I switch my character over? I just got to level 4 (took an ASI for that first feat). The only issue with playing an EK that I could see for me will be having only up to 3rd level spell slot access at level 12 (but spell scrolls along with having Wyll and Shadowheart in my party will nullify that). My highest stats so are a 19 in Dex, 16 in Intelligence, and a 14 in Con.

Hi everyone Moe here again so here’s my problem. I’m on Tactician and running my main party (mono class Paladin - oath of vengeance, Karlach - mono class Barbarian Wildheart, Shart - mono class Cleric light domain, and Wyll - mono class fiend warlock pact of the blade). To make a long story short got to the very last turn of the Netherbrain fight but lost it due to all the platforms being disintegrated by the orbs of negation (did manage to stop it somewhat with globe of invulnerability). Orpheus goes up to hit the brain down to like less than 20 HP. Wyll is downed but I got him back up. Same with Shart (she was still downed). I ended up losing the fight due to the aim assist with Orpheus getting legit stuck via my controller.

I did save at the morphic pool beforehand. Should I go back and grab as many scrolls of invulnerability as I can?

Or should I just try again, spam haste + potions of speed and down the netherbrain ASAP after I get into its own phase?

I’m pretty familiar with this boss fight due to this being my 8th run in total. I’m only doing it for the achievement of Foehammer and doing a run for every single class in the game.

For reference I’m bringing in 3 summons along with my party all having AC at or above 20.
