Today I have created a theory that will revolutionize the way we see all Deltarune. I give you: Mommy Carol Theory. Now what is Mommy Carol Theory? Well I give you the idea that Carol is Noelle’s mother. This may sou crazy but please, let me explain my madness.

Exhibit A: Noelle’s mom seems to busy and wishes to be unbothered.
Now, why could that be? Let me introduce to you that Noelle’s mom could be in a very important position for a job. Something that would require lots of time and effort. Like being a mayor. But how could Noelle’s mom be the mayor when Carol is already the mayor? Well it would be impossible unless they were the same person.

Exhibit 2: Carol seems to show a very commanding and almost motherly role in Noelle’s life.
As we see in chapter four, Carol is shown to have a very strong reaction to seeing Noelle and Susie hang out with Dess’s guitar. Besides blatant homophobia what else could this be alluding to? Carol having a deep care for Noelle and her missing sister’s belongings. All these signs really point to Carol fulfilling the role of a mother in Noelle’s life.

Lastly, Exhibit III: Noelle calls Carol “mom”
This right here should be the nail in the coffin, the cementing of this theory. Noelle calls Carol mom. Which if you don’t know the word “mom” usually refers to the female figure who is your parent. I believe that Noelle calling Carol ”mom” confirms the Mommy Carol Theory.

But that’s just a theory, A MOMMY CAROL THEORY!
