Hi all! For those that have been through the RSM recruiting process, how long did it take till the offer, and what were the different stages?
Also, what questions would a recruiter typically ask in a recruiter screen.
How do you explain why you no longer work at PwC after a lay off? Specially if interviewing for similar big 4 firms or public accounting firms. I was in Advisory, just to provide more context

I am currently 1 year out of undergrad, on paper I have good stats, a good college, good undergrad GPA, good skills, and I write pretty well.
What ends up happening is for opportunities that have interviews, I would pass the initial stage that involves writing and screening, then flunk the interview stage.
I am a very nervous person, and find it hard to connect with people. I’m also very introverted. What are some of your best tips for acing interviews? My goal is to be able to walk into any interview and get the opportunity. I know this is going to hold me back when it comes to future jobs or applying for an MBA, so I really want to take the opportunity now to master the art of the interview and perform what I need to do to get the opportunity.
Does anyone have any tips that could help me?
Are there people in this sub who have treated the last day on their termination letter/the last day they are on regular payroll as when their grace period has started and have been able to get their H1b approved easily with no RFE or denial?
Please let me know the real stories you have; for context I was laid off June 8, but the date on my official separation letter is June 30, and I was paid through regular payroll until June 30. However, when I asked my employers lawyers during our consultation, they told me it starts counting from June 8, but also mentioned b2 is an avenue that still works (even though I know it is not, so I’m not sure I trust their facts)
Please let me know real life stories, especially if it happened after this current administration took office.

Has anyone experienced not doing well in Casey in round 1 (I’ve not yet had my live case for r1) and still making it to r2 and getting the offer? Please give me hope lol
I am rusty when it comes to cases, have probably done around 30 cases within the past 3 years.
Looking for a partner to do a ton of cases with between today and Sunday, as I have an interview on Monday.
For anyone that has done BCG experienced hire r1, how was the experience? What kind of case did you get, and how hard was it? And how much of the behavioral component was prominent and what did they ask?
Hi everyone, has anyone interviewed for the strategic projects lead position and can give me helpful pointers and tell me the structure of the interviews? I would really appreciate it.
I worked for a consulting company for 11 months before I was let go for “performance reasons”. I just graduated with my bachelors in May of last year so I’m still a new grad kind of. What should I tell future employers in interviews for why I’m seeking a new job?
(My company has a policy where current employees can’t give references or confirm employment at the company, and HR can also confirm the time and role I worked for the company). just looking for what will paint me in the best light
If the date I stopped actively being on projects and got my system access shut off is a specific date (June 8,2026), but in my separation letter, it states the "last day of employment with the firm will be June 30, 2026 ("Separation Date")", and I am on payroll till June 30, after which I will receive severance.
Which date does my 60 day grace period start if I was on Hib during that time?
How long does it take from when a new employer starts the process for H1-B to when you can legally stay in the country or start working?
Hi! Looking for a case partner to prepare for R1 for BCG Experienced Associate interviews in 3 weeks. Please private message me or respond in the thread if you are interested, ideally would like someone in the US due to time zone differences.
