Florida Road Trip - Miami to Destin - 12 days - thoughts?

Hi! Any thoughts / suggestions / criticisms of this road trip itinerary? 2 nights in Miami, 2 nights in Siesta, 2 nights in Destin, and 1 in the rest of the stops…. Anything I should add in or leave out?

Do you see yourself first as an Australian citizen and then a citizen of the state you reside in or the other way around? - not a political question

I feel like ever since the pandemic, there’s been this growing sentiment of “I’m a Queenslander” or “I’m a Victorian”… prior to the pandemic, never thought of myself as anything other than an Australian. I’ve noticed this sentiment has existed in Canada and The US for many years now, where a lot of people would introduce themselves as a “British Columbian” or say that “I’m from Colorado”, and it seems like more people in Australia do that now too. Thoughts? Did the pandemic usher this mentality in or has it been around and I just didn’t notice?

Their There, Vancouver BC Canada - Mochi Donuts

Brown butter, cereal milk, and the St. Paddy’s Day special - it was mint flavoured. It was one of my most favourite donuts I’ve ever had, the mint flavour wasn’t too strong. Also, how this store makes their mochi donuts is quite unique but I like it! Sad they’re closing down later this year :(

Seattle to San Diego (West Coast) Road Trip

Hi! I’m a 29 year old male from Australia and am doing a road trip from Seattle all the way down to San Diego from June 19th-July 3rd. I’d primarily love to hug the coastline, although I’m interested in visiting Crater Lake and Yosemite. I realize this may be unrealistic and have had to come to terms with the fact that even in two weeks I won’t see everything and haven’t solidified the route yet. I would love any reccs from locals (or folks who have travelled the area), any tips for practicality/points of interest and places to stay, and I also wanted to put it out there and see if there’s anyone who would be interested in joining me for portions of the trip or meeting up to do fun things while I pass through your area. I’m a big foodie and would love any food reccs as well for any cities or towns along the way. I love meeting locals and Americans are always the friendliest, funniest and warmest people I’ve come across on all my travels!
