As a parent of a 2-year-old daughter, one thing that's constantly on my mind is choosing the right school for her.
Ideally, I'd like her to grow up in a Muslim environment where she can learn about Islam alongside receiving a good quality education. While researching schools in Chennai, I came across few Islamic schools, they looked promising in terms of their vision and curriculum. However, the fees part was a shocker.
Many of them charge over ₹1 lakh/yr even for junior kg. For a single-income household, that's a huge commitment, especially when there are other expenses to think about as a family.
Tbh it even makes me wonder how families manage if they have more than one child. Are these schools genuinely worth the cost, or are there more affordable options that still provide a strong Islamic environment and good academics?
I live in Sholinganallur, so my options seem a bit limited. I'd really appreciate hearing from parents who have gone through this process. Which schools would you recommend, and how do you feel about the fees versus the value they provide
