My gym crush finally approached me to talk today ( yay!) I'm a woman and he's a man. However, I was pretty out of it today and am worried I came across too neutral/ standoffish in the conversation so wanted men/ others advice if this interaction sounds ok and like I was approachable enough?

He said what times do I usually come to the gym and I said whenever. I'm worried this sounded standoffish or evasive but it's true because my schedule is very chaotic. We talked a bit about schedules, preferred gym activities etc. Then I asked him the time which I'm worried he took as me looking for an out but I just wanted 5 mins in the jacuzzi before closing time, then he said see you around and excused himself from the conversation. Ik it's so silly but I also forgot to say thanks for the time which I'm worried was rude.

The whole interaction was very classic small talk, I felt quite self conscious as I could tell others in the sauna were listening. What do people think? Was this alright as an interaction or would you not bother trying to talk to me again after this?

So I've just seen a post from MC Bassman about his birthday. Some AI BS where he's giving the middle finger to a load of sex shops as he flies over them. A problematic post for so many reasons. Which was seemingly just being received positively but I know you can delete negative comments.

Then I also saw a post from Magicka congratulating Bassman on being sober.

Did his allegations just disappear? Why is he being platformed at tunnel club for his birthday and patted on the back by other Artists like he's not got loads of very dark allegations against him? Did I forget something besides we live in a patriarchy.

As a woman in a male dominated scene I find all of this so depressing. I bet these men would chat crap about how evil Epstein is but they're literally perpetuating and participating in the same oppression.

Can anyone spread anymore light on what happened? Is it just he thinks two years is enough for people to forget what he's been accused of?

Unfortunately seeing the comments on these social media posts and ticket sales it seems he's right. Disappointed as hell in Magicka as well. He's backing the wrong side of history there.

Edit: There's a certain way men talk about women if they don't respect us and Bassman and Trigga's bars are absolutely like this. Believe women but also the evidence is right in front of your eyes and ears about how this man and lots of other MCs in DnB view women.
