primarily looking for neo trad/blackwork artists in the area to go to

i got a cat from a shelter last year, he’s about 3. this isn’t the experience i wanted at all. in fact it’s the opposite. everyday when i come home he meows. and then he meows more. and he meows and meows and meows, for hours. hours and hours. i’ve tried treats, i’ve tried the vet, i’ve tried different litter, i’ve tried toys, i’ve tried a fucking bird feeder, nothing works. i was also told he doesn’t do well with other cats, so getting another one isn’t really an idea when i’m already struggling with the one. he has several scratching posts yet refuses to scratch anything that isn’t my brand new couch, if there’s a plant or plastic anywhere around the house he WILL eat it, if there’s an open toilet seat he’s getting into it. i’m just running so thin on patience, i don’t want to give up on him but im getting to the point where i don’t want to go home. i know going home means i have to listen to hours of meowing no matter how long i ignore him OR try to fix it.

i’m currently in the process of moving my betta from a 20g to a 10g frameless, and i’m going to dry start this 10g with some carpeting plants. i have a large piece of driftwood from the og tank as well as an HOB filter and those are the only things i want to keep from the old tank - but then it dawned on me.

the tank is infested w bladder snails. i figured oh ill just not reuse the plants

do i just fucking keep putting cucumber in and genociding them or is there some secret 48hr blackout method i dont know about

i currently have a 20gal with a betta, lots of plants, nerite and bladder snails, and i added 2 amaño shrimp like 4 months ago and only ever see their molts so idk if they’re in there or not.
i was a beginner when i set this tank up, and it’s been my only tank but i just have so much more knowledge now and i want my tank to be so different. i dont want this fine sand anymore, i want more like gravel/black rocks type of deal. i want to add carpet plants so i need co2 but thats pointless with the sand blah blah blah

i’m aware its gonna crash the cycle, im aware its gonna be a restart for essentially everything - what are going to be the biggest stressors and complications with doing a complete tank remodel? will using the previous water maybe mitigate some of the damage?

i’ll admit what i’m looking for is pretty broad, but im searching for a space to essentially find volunteers with profound stories or experiences - wether that be drug addiction, being a firefighter, being a skydiver, idrc - to interview for docs for a youtube channel i’m upstarting. quite frankly those folks can even be lying about their story, idrc, more than anything i just need footage in a particular style to play with until i find my rythmn.

inb4 i plan on reaching out to niche subreddits for specific and individual ideas i come up with, right now im just looking for the basics
