Has anyone experienced this? The card still works if I use the chip, but will not work for tap, Apple Pay, or online orders. I am so confused and the two times I’ve called they keep telling me to remove it and then re-add it to my Apple wallet and online. Nothing has worked! It’s been two weeks and I’m leaving the province in a week, I very much would like this card to work during that trip. Any ideas?

Hi all! We will be buying a car from a dealer for the first time! The first two times they were from private sellers, so we had to pay the fees at the service centre/DMV. (I’m also not from Ontario so there’s provincial differences confusing me too.)My parents have never bought a car from a dealer, neither has my husband, so it’s new territory.

So can someone explain to me like I’m five how it works with registration fees? Here is the breakdown:

Max cost: $25k
Need new plates
Insurance is taken care of (I’m in the industry)

We have $10k to use for down payment + fees. So I want to make sure we stay within that, INCLUDING registration. What can I expect? I’m seeing 13% for taxes, but is that rolled into financing at the dealers? Or should I expect to shell out $3k for that directly after?

Again, like I’m five, please. I just want to know ballpark out of pocket on a $25k vehicle before we make the hour drive in!

My husband is a really chaotic blend of athlete (hockey), gamer, passionate gardener, and artist (especially painting mini models). He isn’t an overly sentimental man, but the budget is very tight this year so I’m looking for ideas on something cost friendly, but still special!

A few ideas I had but can’t go through with:
• Personalized Funko Pops of the kids ~ too expensive
• Handprint/Footprint art ~ my one baby had a terrible reaction to the baby-safe ink!
• Heroforge mini of the kids ~ too expensive

So now I’m coming to the hive mind! Any ideas that have been a hit? I specifically want it to involve the kids!
