I think this segment in today’s pod showed where bill is at. He has hit the point of life where he doesn’t realize other generations and demographics have totally different experiences and norms. Bill is 56, so he had his daughter at 35, he expects Rob who is roughly 30-35, to have a child. I am a 30 m in nyc and none of my friends have kids, even my friends who are older don’t, granted that’s in nyc where age is diff. But I don’t think he realizes how impossible affording a child is and does this mean he’s washed if he can’t contextualize things outside his lived experience? Am I reading too much into this?

edit:this was supposed to be a light hearted tangent shitting on bill, sorry I offended so many people by sharing my own experience Will never do that again! Additionally affording Kids is not reasonable in this economy, look at the data below. But back to shitting on bill.
