if you’re from a flatter state with less elevation like md or Florida how long did you spend acclimating before you started your climb? What do you think best helped you to adjust to the altitude?

yes it’s good to get your common app done early but most people start their freshman year of senior year and you should be productive in summer but also remeber it’s summer and you have time. I’m glad I got my college essay done last summer but I feel bad for the unnecessary stress I felt abt being behind when I wasn’t.
