I see almost everyone, everywhere, trying to rush kickflips. I have been skating for 8 months, and I was one of those people. As soon as I finished learning ollie, I moved straight to kickflips

Its not really a bad thing per se (maybe it is), but I really wish I would have stuck with the basics of skating. I wish i would have started with shuvs and 180s after ollies because I have a super hard time with them now, and took about 5 months just kickflipping. I cant bs 180 or front shuv, barely get a good fs 180 after 10 tries, and am just getting bs shuvs down

Anyways, I'm not complaining about anything, more just seeing what everyone's opinion is here. At the end of the day I think everyone should just have fun skating, don't try to rush kickflips, just get the basics down first.

I am designing a new enclosure. Still need to add all the plants, but I was wondering if this was going to be too much climbing space for ranitomeya or will it be ok?

I am at my wits end for treflips man, I get a 270 most of the time, and other times I just land in front of it. I dont have a good idea of how to picture the trick in my head. Any way to think about it differently would help, thanks.

I am just going through different designs right now. I was thinking about keeping a pair or trio of Ranitomeya, and I want to be able to let them utilize vertical space while still having room to roam/hide. How does this layout look compared to the second where the branches are more horizontal?

So I picked up this tank (18x18x24) for a very good price, but i know I am going to have to modify it for ventillation/humidity. I plan on keeping a pair of dart frogs. Should I custom make a glass panel for the top with about a 2" mesh so that it can suck air from the top and the front? I know the current amount of mesh on the top wont keep humidity.

One year of my Thai Con growing!! Started with a little tiny 3-leaf cutting without any fenestration... Now its thriving! Thinking about putting a moss pole soon :)

Hey guys! I'm super new to this hobby and this is my first tank setup EVER, after my cousin gave me a tank randomly. I was just wondering what to do next; there is so much info out there and I think I'm going to just sit and watch it grow in. Suggestions and criticism welcome!

This is literally the closest i get. Varials? Easy. But tre flips just dont get it done.

Now that i got shoves, 180s, and kickflips/varials down, ive been working on my tre flip. they all end up right here, or doing a varial flip. i feel like the probelm is me needing to lean back or scoop different. any ideas?

I feel like I always land stiff, fall forward, or somehow lose balance. Same happens with regular kickflips, I always get two feet and land em 50% of the time, but that other 50% i fall forwards! Super frustrating.
