I don't know if this necessarily is the place to share it but I thought you guys would enjoy it.

On December 16th, 3511, Operation Herculean Task began being carried out by the North America Union, with the twin ships Hand of Heracles Alpha, and Hand of Heracles Omega locating Anomaly-1971, which was located 260 miles from Earth's Lagrange point 4. Both ships moved into position at the head and tail of the anomaly, with Alpha spinning up its destroyer, before beginning firing as it switched on its thrusters. As Alpha switched on its thrusters, Omega began spinning up and fired at the tip of the anomaly's tail. The two points were identified as weak spots. After roughly 16 minutes of firing upon the anomaly, all movements within it ceased. Anomaly-1971 was officially declared to be dead.

Herculean Task occurred one week before the Firestorm.

Antikythera is the most advanced artificial intelligence program ever developed. Named for the double-ancient Greek "Antikythera Device", its intelligence surpasses those of Einstein, Tesla, Walker, and Johnson. Co-developed by all Nations of Earth. Within it is roughly 5.5 quettabytes of data, used to calculate everything from the position of the planets down to the millimeter, to the current time with no error. There is no better, than Antikythera.

The Hands of Heracles are a pair of identical spacecrafts, created by the North America Union to put down Anomaly-1971. The twin spacecrafts would be fitted with 9 thrusters, including a large central thruster, 11 turret batteries, 12 radiators, and two dual solar panels/sails, as well as a weapon on their front used to target the weak spots of Anomaly-1971. Shown here is the Hand of Heracles Alpha. Its sister ship is Hand of Heracles Omega. They would be used to fight against the Powers of the World, before being turned against Anomaly-1971 itself in the final days of the 3500 War. Both ships would be crippled from the Firestorm event.

On July 28th, 2004, the town of Duncan, Oklahoma was hit by a powerful tornado. The largest tornado on record, the tornado caused the death of over 700 and injuries over 1000 people. CYCLON Shell, a Texas based meteorology research firm is researching the unusual nature of this storm. Hunter Graves, the owner of hydratheory.net would be caught in the storm, being hospitalized for three days. The body of his brother, Marco Graves, would never be found. Hunter began the website following the 2005 Glowing Tornado Outbreak.

In the early 1970s, an anomaly was discovered burrowing into the moon. The United States covered its existence with a laboratory, set up under the guise for the progress of humanity. The establishment of this lunar base paved the way for the colonization of the Solar System. Now, in the year 3500, tensions between enemies come to a boiling point. An attack upon the lab wakes up and lets it free. The North Asia Federation has made their worst mistake. It will most likely be their final. 11 years will pass until the fall of all of humanity from the worst war in the entirety of history. Few will survive, when nothingness catches fire.

The fleet depicted in the image is that of the North American Union (Canada, the US, Greenland and Iceland) and the North Asia Federation is just the USSR borders but changed a little. (The USSR falls apart but then recollects with a different government.)

This isn't meant to be space marines, just a more advanced humanity.
