Henderson forearm injury on Fox Sports post
Looks like a both bone forearm fracture (ie breaking both your radius and ulna bones completely). Those fractures are typically treated with surgery using a plate and screws for each bone to restore optimal forearm function, specifically rotation. The bones usually heal within 6-8 weeks, though that can be shortened if an athlete gets a bone stimulator and/or anabolic osteoporotic medication to speed up fracture healing. The hardware often stays in place for life. Most people return to sports after 10-14 weeks. It really shouldn't affect his play or quality of life provided he avoids complications like the bone(s) healing poorly, nerve injury, infection, etc.
