Has anybody else been seeing abnormally long family guy compilations (20-90+ hours of content) from super odd youtube channels?

The channels seemingly are hacked, from what i’m guessing and apparently didn’t post previous family guy, then they’re removed a day later

I’ve been noticing a strange trend on YouTube involving extremely long “Family Guy” compilations being uploaded by random, seemingly unrelated channels. I’m not talking about normal compilations that are maybe 20 minutes to an hour long — these videos are absurdly long, sometimes listed as 20 hours, 50 hours, or even over 90 hours of continuous content. What makes it even weirder is that the channels uploading them usually don’t appear to be actual animation or TV fan accounts. A lot of them have completely unrelated usernames, strange profile pictures, almost no subscribers, and in many cases their older uploads have nothing to do with “Family Guy” at all.

Some of the channels look abandoned until suddenly they start uploading nonstop clips, livestreams, or marathon compilations. In a few cases I checked the upload history and found that the channel previously posted random content like gaming videos, music edits, tutorials, or even videos in completely different languages. Then out of nowhere the account becomes dedicated entirely to these massive compilations. That’s why I started wondering if these channels might actually be hacked or sold accounts being repurposed for content farming.

Another odd thing is how repetitive and automated the videos feel. A lot of them recycle the same clips over and over with slightly altered titles, thumbnails, or playback speeds. Some have strange AI-generated pictures for the thumbnail that don’t match the actual content, or titles that barely make grammatical sense like “Peter griffin” which was a 40 hour compilation. Others run as endless livestreams that somehow stay up for a day.

My guess is that this could be part of some kind of algorithm exploitation strategy. Since “family guy clips are constantly searched and recommended online, especially through shorts and meme pages, these channels may be trying to abuse YouTube’s recommendation system to gain watch time, ad revenue, or traffic before eventually getting banned. Another possibility is that hacked channels are being used temporarily because older accounts sometimes have more credibility in the algorithm than brand new accounts. It could also explain why some of the channels suddenly change names and themes overnight. Another example is the accounts seemingly being hacked.

I’ve also noticed that many of these videos tend to appear late at night in autoplay recommendations or after watching unrelated meme compilations. Some are unlisted streams that still somehow attract thousands of viewers
