The Suffolk County race is becoming a potential flip this year!
Suffolk county and eight other towns paid at least 1.6M to this lawfirm.
"An invoice issued by the Brewer firm on Oct. 8, 2025 included more than $14,000 for hotel lodging and meals, plus Uber rides, for a “deep dive meeting” at the Garden City Hotel from July 22 to July 24, 2025. Documentation attached to that invoice showed Brewer rented 10 rooms for three nights and listed Losquadro as one of the people in attendance who was provided with a room paid for by Brewer."
I thought this as a joke at first... but the truth is there is many similarities between this season of Interview and the original Neon Genesis Evangalion series.
NGE is touted for its unique narrative structure for a shonen anime. It focused on character development for 2/3 of an episode, then has crams the action into the latter half. It makes for a really addicting and thrilling style of show.
Compared to ITWV season 1 & 2, season 3 definitely spent a languid amount of time on moody character development over action. In fact, this is most people's criticism of the show.
But what really seals the comparison is the final episode. Instead of the action we expected, we saw everything that happened, but in the protagonist's mind. All of the characters, scenes, and themes came to their epic conclusion... in Lestat's head.
Overall, I think this is a fun comparison. I'd love to hear from other Interview/NGE fans!
Madonna won orange!
Yellow makes me think energetic songs like of Shy Boy, Love is a Long Run or Do Better.
Which Secret song do you think of as yellow?
What Secret songs fit ORANGE?
Orange is vibrant and exciting, I personally think if Magic, Do Better! and AMAZINGER. Which one should it be?
I thought this would be a fun way to talk about Secret with fellow fans - old and new alike!
Which Secret song is RED? Most upvotes wins.
I'm looking for any information on this album that exists. I only came across it on Spotify and I was suspicious of AI only because I can't find other information on it. But it otherwise doesn't come across as AI to me, especially considering some of the production.

I've seen many opinions about this from other subreddits and YouTube commenters, but I'm curious what real Secrettimes/fans think about this topic.
First of all, I think it's interesting that so many people associate SECRET with their Madonna sound. I personally love this sound, but they also have so many singles with an upbeat cutesy sound. Besides the beasts Shy Boy and SLML, there are releases like Yoohoo, I Do I Do, Twinkle Twinkle, etc. all don't have that signature powerful big band sound. Their Japanese discography also strayed away from the powerful sound and more into ballads. I think people who expected the Madonna sound probably don't actually listen to the group's music and b sides.
I totally get why people wanted that Madonna sound, but I was not surprised at all to hear that they didn't choose that sound. SLML is notorious for bringing in the most amount of Secrettimes, and it was a generational hit. International fans don't really understand the cultural influence of it I think. It's a song that both you and your grandparents could enjoy, which is really rare in kpop.
After hearing Ice Cream, knowing Hyoseong was involved in the production made a lot of sense. Hyoseong's solo music has always drifted towards a dreamy, delicate sound. Ice Cream would fit extremely well with her discography. It sounds like a less sexy "So Good" - part of me wonders if it started with that intention in mind.
Overall, I would have liked a powerful comeback just as much as anyone else. But I still think Ice Cream represents SECRET very well. Their signature wasn't their powerful sound - it was how they transformed between the Madonna and SLML sounds, but always brought great and fun performances.
My biggest let down is mostly that we haven't been able to see music show performances! This would have really cemented what makes them stand out. But I know that if they could have been on these, they would have jumped at the chance.
What do you all think?
More unrealistic expectations for lungs from the 5th generation... how many more do we have to lose before it ends
Secret is collecting idols like Pokemon cards! Who would be part of your dream collab?
They've already done quite a few idols that I was super excited to see, like Rainbow and BAP members.
I would love to see all Five Girls members together. I also think it would be cool to see other idols that have done Ice Cream songs like Somi, Yuna or Hyuna.

The group Secret has released a new album for the first time in 12 years. New member Yebin has joined to fill the void left by original members Song Ji-eun and Han Sun-hwa . While the trend of groups returning to the stage after a long hiatus has become familiar, it is rare for a team to reorganize by recruiting new members after a break of over a decade.
Secret released their special mini-album "Secret Flavor" through various online music sites at 6 PM on the 18th. This marks Secret's first new album release in approximately 12 years since their mini-album "Secret Summer," which featured "I'm in Love" as the title track, in August 2014. Since their debut in October 2009, Secret has been active with hits such as "Magic," "Madonna," "Shy Boy," "Starlight Moonlight," and "Love is Move." They are a group that has left behind popular hit songs while traversing concepts ranging from intense performances to bright and bubbly vibes.
This comeback features a three-member lineup, with Jeon Hyosung and Zinger joined by Yebin , a former contestant on JTBC's "Girls on Fire." Born in 2002, Yebin is the youngest member of the group, 13 years younger than Jeon Hyosung and 12 years younger than Zinger. Given that they have rebranded after a long hiatus, there were many who expected to see "those members from back then," but Secret chose to reorganize through the recruitment of new members rather than reminiscing about the original members.
Initial reactions were mixed. After the news of the new members joining was announced, online comments included questions such as, "Doesn't this dilute the meaning of recalling memories?" and "Can this really be considered a Secret comeback when they aren't original members?" For a group that has been loved for a long time, the unfamiliarity with the change in member composition was bound to be significant.
The atmosphere changed after the pre-release video. As footage of Yebin performing the live rendition and choreography of "Madonna" was revealed, reactions followed such as, "Her vocal tone and timbre match Secret's existing style well," "She fills the void better than expected," and "This single video has changed public opinion." While it is difficult to say that concerns have completely vanished, it was clear that the perception of the new member shifted from doubt to curiosity.
The fact that Jeon Hyosung personally recommended Yebin also shapes the narrative of this comeback. Recalling her own experience of restarting with Secret after her debut with "Oh So Nyeo" fell through, Jeon Hyosung revealed that she saw Yebin on "Girls on Fire" while looking for a friend in a similar situation. She explained that she subsequently strongly recommended Yebin to the rookie development team.
The album composition features both new songs and remakes of existing hit tracks. The title track, " Ice Cream, " is a refreshing, medium-tempo pop dance song that samples Vivaldi's "Spring." The song expresses fleeting emotions that vanish like melting ice cream, and the desire for those moments to last forever.
Since its release, "Ice Cream" has been well-received for being an easy-listening track rather than one that feels overly intense. While showcasing Secret's signature bright and cheerful vibe, it also clearly demonstrates how new member Yebin harmonizes with Hyosung and Zinger.
In addition to the funky new track "Get Right," the album includes 2026 remakes of hit songs that led Secret's heyday, such as "Madonna," "Shy Boy," "Starlight Moonlight," and "Love is Move." This can be interpreted as a choice to not let go of the Secret color the public remembers, even as they have stepped forward with new members.
Recently, the music industry has seen a trend of groups from the past returning to the stage or reviving their hit songs through YouTube and broadcasts to generate buzz. However, most of these efforts have focused on the reunion of original members or the possibility of a full group comeback. Reforming a team by adding a new member after a long hiatus, as Secret did, is a relatively unfamiliar choice.
The key question is whether this choice can gain credibility within the current trends of the music industry, rather than merely serving as a buzzword. While remaking hit songs can lower the barrier to entry, failing to sufficiently showcase the unique identity of the new lineup makes it difficult to avoid comparisons with the past. Conversely, if Yebin can convince the public of the current Secret alongside Hyosung and Zinger without compromising the nostalgia of their previous songs, this comeback could go down in the music industry as an exceptional case of a team continuing with a new member after a long break.
Ultimately, their future moves are crucial. They have dispelled some concerns regarding Yebin through a pre-release video and have officially begun activities as a three-member group with the new song "Ice Cream." Now, it is important to see how much they build the team's image through various touchpoints, such as stage performances, self-produced content, and appearances on their YouTube channel. It remains to be seen whether Secret, returning after 12 years, can create new possibilities with their new member.

Actress Han Sun-hwa responded wittily to an unexpected request for a "Secret Pose."
On the afternoon of the 8th, the red carpet event for the "46th Golden Cinematography Awards" was held at the Construction Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Standing before the press that day, Han Sun-hwa appeared in a gray suit matching a crop top with wide-leg pants. Her sophisticated styling and slender proportions captivated attention.
However, she looked flustered by an unexpected request. The on-site MC asked Han Sun-hwa to strike a pose from her days as a member of the group Secret.
Han Sun-hwa completely transitioned to acting after leaving Secret in 2016. As 10 years have passed, she could not hide her surprise at the sudden request for the Secret pose. For a moment, she was seen hesitating with her hands clasped together and a troubled smile.
However, she soon politely asked for understanding while lightly waving both hands, and softened the atmosphere on set with her signature bright smile. Her natural and flexible response to the unexpected request was impressive.
Given that rumors of past discord with other members have been consistently circulating, some found the MC's sudden request for a "secret pose" somewhat out of the blue; however, Han Sun-hwa's calm demeanor is being praised as a shining example.
Meanwhile, Han Sun-hwa received favorable reviews for her passionate performance as Jang Mi-ran, a top actress suffering from deep stress and inner wounds due to her mother's influence, in the recently concluded JTBC drama * Everyone Is Fighting Their Worthlessness *.
