Hello everyone,

For some background I am in my last year of getting my bachelors degree at the University of Houston downtown. I was looking at my unofficial transcript today and I noticed that for this past semester— the spring semester 2026– I supposedly made it onto the Dean’s list,

but I’m just a little confused because I never received any email or really any notification that I made it onto the Dean’s list. I also looked at my official GPA overall and I have a 3.375 overall GPA and a I believe 3.7 term/semester GPA.

And so I was wondering if that’s normal? maybe it’s just one of those things where because a 3.3 is so close to a 3.4 they just kind of like rounded it up…and since it’s rounded up they don’t send out emails?

I know it’s not a big deal in retrospect, but I still wanna know for my own closure and because this is an accomplishment I’ve been trying to achieve for a long time. Thank you!

Hello, I am in urgent need of some advice. So I bought some perfume on a Japanese proxy website called Doorzo. They stated that they would be able to ship the perfume, although the only method in which it could be shipped, would be by sea freight shipping. So I bought the perfume under the pretenses that I would still receive the perfume, although it would take some time. Perfume arrived to the warehouse, and I’m not being given the option to select sea freight shipping. I reach out to the customer service and they have the other gall to tell me that they cannot offer me a refund nor can they ship me the product either. And to top that all off, they tell me to find another Japanese proxy shipping company. While, the perfume that I pay for is sitting in their warehouse. So I am at a loss here. I’m tempted to file a dispute with PayPal as I purchase this perfume through PayPal. But I want to ensure that I’m touching all of my bases. The perfume was not a gift for myself. It was a gift for my best friends birthday. And for context, I am a broke college student who is currently unemployed, and the money that I had to pay for some perfume I saved up months for. So if anyone please have any suggestions or any advice, please let me know. Thank you.
