I don’t wanna say this out loud but…

I made some changes last night. My Xbox just downloaded the latest update from EA. I downloaded my updated team after that. And I don’t think anything changed?

UPDATE: Looks like the helmets get wiped out to just a plain white. But the numbers stay.

Custom Font Written Notes

If you don't have time to watch the whole video, I boiled down the instructions here. (Used ChatGPT and I don't feel like proofreading, but this worked for me!)

I am not the creator of this extension, and it is not officially supported by EA. Use it at your own risk. This is just the quickest version of the process that worked for me.

  1. Download the extension ZIP from the creator’s GitHub and unzip it somewhere permanent.
  2. In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped extension folder.
  5. Pin the extension and make sure it has permission to access www.ea.com.
  6. In regular Team Builder, set your number size, spacing, placement and colors first.
  7. Use a normal three-color font first if the custom font you want uses three colors.
  8. Close all extra Team Builder tabs.
  9. Open your team and go to the Brand tab.
  10. Hard-refresh the page:
  • Mac: Command + Shift + R
  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
  1. Open the extension.
  2. Click Refresh Status.
  3. Click Fetch Live JSON.
  4. Select the uniform and custom school/year font.
  5. Click Push Edited JSON to Team Builder.
  6. Return to Team Builder, reload, save and submit the team.
  7. Download or update the team in the game and test it.

Troubleshooting notes

  • The biggest fix for me was using the Brand tab, not the Uniforms tab.
  • Keep only one Team Builder tab open.
  • Temporarily disable other Chrome extensions if Push fails.
  • Make sure the helper has access to ea.com.
  • Clear any old mock before starting again.
  • The jersey may appear blank in the browser after applying the custom font. The font can still work correctly once downloaded into the game.
  • The browser may not show the hidden font, so exact sizing may require checking it in-game and adjusting afterward.

6th Uniform?

Actually this is annoying. I have been uploading and it is adding a weird 6 uniform option. It sucks because it shows up on the team builder too, but can’t be edited. So basically one of my uniforms slides to the next one.

Anyone else getting this?

Bishop Gorman Gaels

Does anyone remember that reality show with Snoop and his son and his son was playing at Bishop Gorman? No? Just me?

Anyway, this was a fun one because they already have 100s of uniform combos. Went with traditional home and away, then did a Vegas theme, blackout, all orange.

NOTE: there is some weird glitch with this one where it keeps adding a 6th uniform when the team is uploaded. So the names get out of order if you want to download this one.
