Been out of climbing for a bunch of years because kids. I used to mostly just use the climbing rope to build my anchor, the brother in law used to carry a cordelette. What’s the standard nowadays for building your anchor between pitches?

Been out of the climbing game for a few years now and looking to get back into it. I’ve got a pretty old pair of Muiras, but looking at something new.
Based in Australia, will be climbing 90% granite, mix of crack and slab, want something that’s going to be comfortable on long trad routes.
