Help me please!

I'm having what I can only describe as feeling extremely off and my anxiety is through the roof. I can't shake this dread feeling....like I'm so concerned about it being my heart when I know logically it can't be. I feel very panicky and sweating. It started after I got into Kroger, and preceded to get to the point where I felt like I was floating and just all around yucky. Please any advice is very much welcome.

New to Pppd

Good afternoon everyone, I 42F was originally diagnosed with BPPV 3 years ago. After curing my Bppv I was in heaven for a good year. Then all of a sudden I started feeling like I was swaying back and forth, I became shaky and unsteady, also felt almost like I wasn't here (basically like watching myself do it but not quite if that makes sense). Florescent lights are a huge trigger for my episodes, they leave me feeling absolutely horrible l😓. I went back to my doctor to get treated for what I assumed was a bppv flare up. Nothing helped, so I began researching my symptoms and sure enough found pppd. Went back to my doctor and he confirmed that I indeed have it. So, my question is what have you done to help with your flares/episodes? What kind of doctors should I go to? Unfortunately my chiropractor who is also a MD cannot do anything else for me. I'm just wanting to be normal again, I feel so yucky and can't enjoy my life like before. Any suggestions or recommendations are very much appreciated 😉

Anxiety about vyvanse not working😢

Good morning everyone! I 42F am taking 60mg Vyvance for approximately 9 years. I was diagnosed with severe ADHD at the age of 8 and started treatment at 9 years old. I was given 10mg Ritalin with Prozac. Back in the early 90's ADHD wasn't very well understood, which in turn left a lot of us feeling like a science experiment lol. All jokes aside, Vyvance has been a absolute life saver to me💓But when I began taking it 9ish years ago it didn't always work. Simply because I was taking it as soon as I woke up. Some days it kicked in others it did not (or I couldn't really feel it working). Vyvance is a pro drug and it needs to break down in your system to work correctly and efficiently. When you wake up in the morning your stomach needs to wake up too. So, trying to take Vyvance and it going into a stomach/digestive system that isn't fully "awake" basically makes it feel like its not working, I guess😬Anyway, I finally decided to take it a hour after I woke up and its been a game changer. Unfortunately, I now am super hypervigilant about whether or not it's going to work. Based on months and months of good days and bad ones. I honestly wish I could just stop the insanity 😕 My questions are, how long does it take for your Vyvance to kick in, do you have days where it feels like its generally not working well at all? Also thought I'd ask about booster doses as well. (Asked a couple different times on other adhd threads but alas I never really got a good answer 😕). Was prescribed 10mg IR Adderall last year, for days where my Vyvance is subpar. To be honest I'm so incredibly scared to take it, the booster dose. I suffer from cardiophobia, which is the fear of having a heart attack. So, when my pulse raises I immediately go into a panic😓I worried it will raise my heart rate and possibly cause adverse side effects that will hurt my heart. Has anyone tried and natural supplements like magnesium? To help it kick in or to help the Vyvance effectiveness? Just would love to hear everyone's input and suggestions 😊

Bad anxiety today

Good afternoon everyone! Need some reassurance that I'm going to be okay pretty please and thank you🥲 For context F(42) have had chronic anxiety my whole life, have cardiophobia as well, and adhd. I also have pppd vertigo which has been quite the struggle lately. Since the forest fires in Canada ( I live in Ohio) my pppd has flared up something fierce🥴😵😵‍💫Today I'm feeling very shaky and elevated heart rate. Which makes me instantly feel worse because I always go to the worse case scenario....ie a heart attack or stroke. I know in my logical mind that I will be okay, but my illogical anxiety brain won't let me believe it😥Would love to hear of any experiences or tips to manage it please! Forgot to mention that I have a tooth extraction tomorrow and I'm very nervous about it too....

1 year old started barking at night

Good evening everyone ☺️. I have a 1 year old girl shih poo. She recently started barking at night. Last week she acted spooked by something and spent the whole entire night barking (poor baby). Then this week she barked for a bit 2 nights ago, I took her out and she didn't go potty. So, I put her back to bed and she barked for about 5 minutes then went to sleep. Last night she started barking, so I did the same thing and took her out then put her back to bed. She barked for probably 10ish minutes and eventually soothed herself enough to go to sleep. For reference she hasn't really ever had to much of a problem with bed time and bedtime routine. Occasionally she would bark but it wasn't horrible. We've gotten into a rhythm with bedtime, and haven't had any problems until last week. My question is, if anyone has experienced this with there pups at all? If so, what did you do to fix/help the situation from occurring again? We give her 2mg melatonin every night as well. Bumped it up to 2.5, which knocked her out😄. Last night I didn't give her the half and she barked, so when I put her back to bed I gave her it. I know coming to her aid when she's barking doesn't help because they need to learn how to self soothe as well. Any suggestions or tips very much welcome🙂

Help with bp worries

Good morning everyone, I 42F went to see my gyno yesterday and my bp was extremely high. I have white coat syndrome ever since the pandemic. Trauma related anxiety disorders from sa as a child. Also have pppd (Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness) and Bvd (Binocular Vision Dysfunction) as well as being premenopausal. So, basically a lot of things that would most definitely cause my bp to spike. For context, my bp was 190/120 but my gyno didn't seem very concerned. She listened to my heart and looked up my ekg from 4 years ago when all this anxiety with my heart really started and it was fine. I just can't shake this feeling of doom and am now googling stuff I shouldn't😪I take Vyvance and cannot function without it. So the thought of being taken off my medication is truly terrifying. Advice needed, to help elevate my worry please. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Vyvanse effectiveness

Good morning everyone! For context/background I 42(F) have been diagnosed with adhd at the age of 8. Have been on Ritalin, Adderall, and now Vyvanse (Which I've been on for about 8-9 years.) I take 60mg daily, and never take a break because my doctor advises me to not to. Due to adverse side effects when starting back up again.

My question is if anyone has had days where your medication just seems to take forever to kick in and leaves you worried that it's not going to work? A few years ago I was taking my Vyvance right when I woke up. Unfortunately, I had quite a lot of days where it literally didn't work at all. Used to keep track on a calendar. More bad days then good became my new norm. Finally I started taking it a hour after I woke up and that thankfully fixed the problem! But I still have anxiety about it not working when I don't feel it right away.....(I know, I know, Mind over matter, and mental struggles are real lol.) So, asking if anyone has experienced this and if they found any magnesium that helped or a specific diet or routine that helped?

Questions on booster dose

Good morning everyone 👋 Desperately need some information on booster doses pared with my Vyvance. For context, 42F been on Vyvanse for almost 10 years. I take 60mg every day, and was prescribed a 10mg adderall IR booster for days that I have my period. Pretty nervous about taking the booster dose. So, I haven't taken it at all. But today I took my Vyvance like normal and it literally feels like it's not working as well. Which is making my anxiety worse😪 Filled my new script yesterday and when I looked at the capsules they seemed a little bigger then my last script. I take generic Vyvance and get my scripts from Walmart in Ohio. Anyway when I saw that my brain immediately got worried about whether it will work. (I worry a lot about my Vyvance not working because had a time in the past that it bairly worked. So, I started taking it a hour after waking up.) I'm considering taking 5mg of my 10mg booster today but am very nervous that it will make me feel worse😮‍💨Has anyone had any experiences with booster doses? All information and tips needed asap!

Bppv turned into pppd after treatment

Good morning everyone, I'm looking for information about p p p d and successful treatments. 2 years ago I was diagnosed by my chiropractor with BPPV. Which we successfully managed to rid me of with 2 to 3 times a week adjustments. Over a 4 month period. About 2 months ago I began to feel like I was floating and like I was on a boat. Florescent lights seem to trigger attacks that made me feel like I took a sleep aid and was fighting to stay awake. It was similar to my bppv but minus the spinning feelings. I started going back to my chiropractor because I thought my vertigo had returned. Unfortunately it seems like the adjustments aren't working as well as they did previously. I began to research my current symptoms and came to the conclusion that I probably have PPPD now. Spoke with my chiropractor and he will be looking into the possibility of it and how he can better help. Has anyone ever experienced this transition? If so what has worked? Literally at my wits end with this. I can't keep living like this....I can't go to the movies or have certain light spectrums, get wobbly if its to loud in a store. I feel so broken and helpless😭
