Why can’t I seem to improve from my diagnostic score?

I keep getting the same score. My cold diagnostic was a 173 a few months ago and I’ve drilled and done ten practice tests and my average is…174. I thought that with a diagnostic like that I should aim for a 180 but it’s like I’ve hit a ceiling.

Does anyone have tips for high scorers who need to just get those last few questions?

Different UI/layout on experimental RC?

Just took the LSAT this morning and noticed that the interface was different on the second RC section.

Did anyone else notice this? Does this mean that section was the experimental or was my computer just bugging out?

Specifically the little dividing lines between the questions for each passage at the bottom on the screen were missing

Where should I apply?

Hi guys, I’m trying to figure out where to apply to minimize cost and avoid taking on debt since I don’t have Big Law aspirations. Obviously, I would still want to go to the “best” (career outcomes/prestige) school possible, but it seems like USNWR rankings are… misaligned with reality. Please help me figure out what’s realistic.

Some key info:
- 3.8 from Georgetown, 170-175 lsat (taking August but average practice is 174)
- graduated a semester early in December 2025 and have been on a gap year, no real work experience besides past internships and odd jobs while in undergrad
- first gen college grad and URM (Latina, btw how do I indicate this without seeming like I’m pandering)
- urban location with a major airport is important to me since I might be long-distance with my fiancé during my studies

Cost of living would be lowest in Miami since I could live with my parents, the Bay Area since I could live with my fiancé, or DC since my in-laws are there.

Thank you in advance!
