So Spec List:

Vedal confirmed the following details about the new server:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9965WX
• (which is a Zen 5 24 Cores / 48 Threads)
• RAM: 128GB DDR5 ECC
• The server chassis is mounted on wheels with a UPS big enough she stays powered for a while when unplugged

the cheapest ram i could find sold in uk matching that was a KCS-UC564D4 kingston kit of 4x which was being sold for £2,999 [3996.17 USD or 3440 EUR or about 27k Yuan]

Based on the Threadripper we can speculate on a few more things:

•  must be a WRX90 chipset motherboard i would assume something in the range of a Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE
• we hope he goes up to multiple GPUs best case he uses some ada cards (RTX Pro 4000s? or even a single 5000? more likely is reusing one 4090 and getting a second. or hes broke from the ram and goes for a single 50 series or a single RTX PRO
• PSU: 1600W+ (e.g., Corsair AX1600i or even dual PSUs)
• Cooling: A massive specialized TR5/SP6 socket cooler. Usually, this means an enormous Noctua air cooler or a massive 420mm custom AIO liquid cooler.
• i imagine storage will mostly be sepreated now into something else? or he might be finally using a real rack? i doubt it though.

In terms of upgrade:

• Old CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (16-Core / 32-Thread)
• Old RAM: 128GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 @ 5600MHz
• Old Mobo: Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE
• Old GPU: Single RTX 4090
• Old PSU: Corsair RM1000e 1000W

RAM capacity is the same, but the tech is vastly superior for glitches (go lookup ecc)

even at only 24c this is a doubling of what we had before (would have loved to see a 75 but oh well 32 one day)

overall the biggest thing is the Platform removes the "Consumer" limits meaning upgrades should be more reasonable to do now.
