Do you think medication would work for Bob?
There’s currently a post on r/AskReddit asking mental health professionals about the most severe/disruptive condition they’ve seen, and one of the top answers is schizoaffective disorder, which sounds a lot like what MCU Bob experiences: a mix of schizophrenia symptoms, such as hallucinations and delusions, and mood disorder symptoms, such as depression and mania. A lot of commenters went into detail about the complex, precise amounts of medications that people with this condition rely on to live a normal life and it made me wonder if that would work for Bob or not due to his powers.
Steve Rogers mentioned not being able to get drunk because of his super soldier metabolism so I assume the same would apply to Bob. I think medication would only work for him if they were able to find a way to administer insanely high doses that his metabolism wouldn’t immeadiately be able to burn through it (which could also be dangerous for a former addict). But I would hope that it would be possible because being managing his conditions without the option of medical intervention would only add another challenge to his already hard life
